Description

Here is a picture that I did as a gift for my good friend :iconwolf492:: A picture of his original character, Cindy Wolf, in her outfit that she would be seen wearing while playing golf. Because I wasn't too busy doing anything else at the time, I was in the mood for wanting to draw a new picture of Cindy in my original cartoon style after being able to check out my friend's drawings that he was able to post recently, and I was feeling inspired to draw a picture involving Cindy in her golfing attire based on a picture that my friend did of her not too long ago:

Cindy's Golf Outfit by Wolf492

For this picture I've done, I was able to draw Cindy playing some golf while carrying her bag of clubs around on a course, and she can be seen in an outfit that consists of a light blue shirt and a white skirt. Needless to say, my friend wasn't able to provide any colors for the outfit in the drawing he did of her, so I decided to pick the colors of her golf outfit that would look suitable for her to wear. When I was coloring the picture in, I was able to use an image that I found of some random golf course for the scenery, which I would be able to edit while blending in perfectly with my drawing of Cindy. The picture turned out really nice after being completed, and I just know that my friend will love it no matter what.

The lines are smooth and the colors easy on the eyes. But I do have a few issues with this work. The shadow at the bottom is just circular and does not make any sense because you had a photo in the background to tell where the light was coming from. In fact most of your shadow placements are off. But to be fair your anatomy is really good. That combined with the smooth lines and wise color choice just makes the bad parts all the more obvious. Though I have to say I'm nit picking. Also I personally hate mixing real life photo's with cartoon like art. I would of given a much higher rating if you took the effort to reference the photo instead of just copy and pasting it into the background.
