Joshua and Penelope - Cute Canine Siblings

Here is a picture that I did as a gift/request for my dear friend : A picture of her Sonic fan characters, Joshua The Husky and Penelope The Poodle, in my original cartoon style. Because I wasn't too busy working on anything else at the time, I was in the mood to draw a picture involving a couple of my friend's newest characters that she created after being able to check out her artwork not too long ago, especially since she was nice enough to ask me to draw her characters, which I was more than willing to do so because of her being a really good friend to me as well. Anyway, for this picture I've done, I was able to draw Joshua and Penelope in their normal outfits they would usually be seen wearing, though I did make a few alterations to the outfit designs so that they would be a little easier for me to draw. One thing to note about both characters is that they are actually supposed to be siblings and not a couple who are in love with each other despite how cute they may be when seen together. As I was coloring the picture in, I was able to use a dark blue texture for the background, and I decided to fill up much of the empty space by adding stars in different sizes. The picture turned out very nice after being completed, and I just know that my friend will love it no matter what.
