Luka The Lion

Here is a picture that I did as part of an art trade with : A picture of his original character, a male lion named Luka, in my original cartoon style. Because I wasn't too busy working on anything else at the time, I was in the mood for doing an art trade with a fellow artist who enjoyed checking out my artwork for some time now, and I was also motivated to draw a picture for him after he was able to draw a picture involving two of my original characters for my half of the trade:



For this picture I've done, I was able to draw Luka in the character style that I normally draw my original characters in, and I decided to draw him wearing a casual outfit that consists of a red t-shirt and navy blue shorts; I was also able to draw him holding onto a book because of him being a character who loves to reading after being able to learn a little about his profile. I'll admit, I was kind of reluctant to draw this character in my original cartoon style, especially with the darker colors and style of his features, but I was able to go ahead and continue drawing him for such a picture nonetheless. As I was coloring the picture in, I was able to use a yellow texture for the background. The picture turned out very nice, and I'm sure the artist will like it no matter what.
