Description
Here is a picture that I did as a gift for my good friend 
: A picture of the Qittaswell Sisters (Kiara, Whitniam, Malshiam, and Alilah) in the land of Subcon from the NES game "Super Mario Bros. 2" as well as its Japanese counterpart "Doki Doki Panic!", which was released on the Famicom Disk System in Japan. Because I was feeling a bit inspired to continue drawing not too long ago, I was in the mood for drawing a picture based on an idea that was on my mind after playing "Super Mario Bros. 2" on the NES, which has always been one of my most favorite Mario games of all time, and I became even more inspired to draw such a picture involving the Qittaswell Sisters after learning so much about the game's origins in an episode of "The Gaming Historian" that I saw on YouTube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=2EUYSN…
Anyway, for this picture I've done, I was able to draw a picture of the Qittaswell Sisters after they had somehow ended up in Subcon, and they're able to explore the place on their own while fighting enemies such as Shy Guys and Snifits that are blocking their paths. The way I see it, even though I was able to draw only four of the Qittaswell Sisters for such a scene, I began to imagine what it would be like if Nintendo was able to create a newer version of the game that would feature these characters from the "T.U.F.F. Puppy" universe, and I even figured out which abilities each of these four characters would have based on their counterparts from both versions of the game:
Kiara (Kitty Katswell) would be the character whose abilities are balanced and well-rounded, which is based on Mario and/or Imajin.
Alilah (Allison Retriever) would be the character who has the ability to jump higher than the other characters, which is based on Luigi and/or Mama.
Whitiam (Whitnee Squirrel) would be the character who has the ability to run faster and pick up items quickly, which is based on Toad and/or Papa.
Malshiam (Lady Malmsteen) would be the character who is a bit slower and weaker but has the ability to hover in mid-air, which is based on Peach and/or Lina.
When I was coloring the picture in, I was able to use a couple of different custom-made patterns and textures for the scenery in the background, which I tried to make look as if it was straight out the game(s) that the picture was based on, although I never got around to adding some shading, especially because of it taking nearly four hours for me to complete such a picture. Even so, the picture still turned out really nice after being completed, and it's sure to please my friends and everyone else as well.

I remember playing Super Mario Bros. 2 when I was a kid. It wasn't my favorite of the series (Super Mario Bros.3 was!) That game was fun and so is this picture! What an interesting cast of characters!
