Steampunk Sabina

Here is a picture that I did as part of an art trade with my best friend : A picture of her original character, Sabina The Saluki, in a Steampunk outfit. After not being able to draw Sabina in such a long time, I was more than willing to draw another picture involving my best friend's original characters that I love so very much. For this picture I've done, I was able to draw Sabina in a Steampunk outfit that I've designed for her to wear while she's seen holding onto a socket wrench; I'm actually kind of new to the Steampunk stuff, which I've checked out for quite some time before being able to draw such a picture. Part of the inspiration for designing Sabina's Steampunk outfit actually came from the Nintendo DS game "Solatorobo: Red The Hunter", which is where I got some of the ideas for drawing the outfit, and I decided to make the outfit look even more interesting by having the socks and gloves that are part of the outfit become mismatched in color. As I was coloring the picture in, I was able to use a colorful texture for the background done in a kind of dynamic style. The picture turned out incredibly nice after being completed, and I just know that my best friend will love it no matter what.
