The Red Squirrel Ninja - Part 7

PART 7

The city of Petropolis had been saved once again from the forces of evil. Verminous Snaptrap, The Chameleon, and Birdbrain have been wreaking havoc in Petropolis the past few days, but they have all been defeated by the T.U.F.F. agents, Dudley Puppy and Kitty Katswell, and their ninja ally, Whitnee Squirrel. The villains that had been defeated were then sent back to Petropolis Prison after they had escaped and tried to get revenge on their enemies. And so, the very next day at T.U.F.F. HQ, the three heroes are about to be awarded by Chief Herbert Dumbrowski for their heroic deeds and bravery. Instead of wearing her ninja outfit, Whitnee was able to show up wearing a red top, red shorts, and red fingerless gloves.

Chief: "Congratulations, T.U.F.F. agents! You have defeated three of Petropolis's most notorious villains and saved our fair city once again!"

Kitty: "Thanks, Chief! We couldn't have done it without our new ally... It's so great to have you as a member of the team, Whitnee!"

Whitnee: (bowing) "Thanks, Kitty. Your friendship really does me honor, and I'm so glad that I'm able to work along with you and Dudley from now on."

Chief: "Speaking of which, where is Agent Puppy? It's not like him to miss out on receiving a medal for saving the day as usual."

Kitty: "Oh, he's probably still sad about his favorite chew toy being destroyed from our recent battle..."

Whitnee: "Not to worry, Kitty; I think I'll go talk to him."

Dudley is seen looking very unhappy at his desk, glancing at a picture of the Manic Mailman chew that he ended up losing during the fight against his arch-enemies. Whitnee comes up from behind with Kitty next to her.

Whitnee: "Hi, Dudley. The Chief is about to reward the three of us for saving Petropolis recently. Don't you want to come and accept your medal?"

Dudley: "I'm a little too sad for a medal right now, Whitnee... I just lost something that's very precious to me, and I now I can't stopping thinking about it!"

Kitty: "Dudley, you only lost a lousy chew toy, so I think you should just get over it already!"

Dudley: "'A lousy chew toy'?! Manic Mailman was not a lousy chew toy, Kitty! He was my most favorite chew toy in the entire world, and I'll probably never see him again!" (sobs loudly)

Kitty: (rolling eyes) "Oh, brother... Dudley may be one of our best agents, but he can certainly act like a little kid most of the time, Whitnee."

Whitnee: "Now calm down, Dudley... I understand how you feel about losing something that's very valuable to you, so I decided to get you a little gift on my way back to T.U.F.F. HQ this morning."

Whitnee reaches into her pocket and pulls out a brand new Manic Mailman chew toy, which she hands over to Dudley.

Dudley: (gasps happily) "A brand new Manic Mailman chew toy to replace the one I lost??"

Whitnee: "I was able to get it for you as a way of saying thanks for saving my life recently."

Dudley: (tears in eyes) "Gosh... This is the greatest thing I've ever received, and it sure beats a medal any day! Group hug, everybody!"

Kitty: "Aww, Dudley... It's so hard to be serious when you're so darn affectionate!"

Whitnee: "You couldn't be more right, Kitty!"

Dudley gets up out of his chair and hugs Whitnee and Kitty tightly, who are then able to hug him back. At that moment, Keswick came into the room to make an announcement.

Keswick: "Good news, T.U.F.F. agents! After many teh-teh-tests in the past couple of days, I've been able to peh-peh-peh-perfect my latest invention, the Mecha-Monkey 4000!"

Kitty: "Are you sure it's perfected, Keswick? You've been trying to get that robot of yours to climb wall the past couple of days, but it just does something else instead."

Dudley: "Yeah, I mean, all it's done is chime, rhyme, whine, dine, pay fines, even tell time...but not climb."

Keswick: "Well, I've been fixing all the beh-beh-bugs during the past few tests, so I'm peh-peh-pretty sure that it's guaranteed to climb walls this time!"

And so, Keswick pulls out a remote control and presses a button, which causes the Mecha-Monkey 4000 to power on. Then, without any warning, Keswick's robot squirts out a stream of sticky green fluid straight up in the air, which comes pouring down towards Dudley, Kitty, and Whitnee. Kitty and Whitnee are able to move out of the way, but before Dudley could do anything, he ends up getting covered in the green fluid.

SPLUT!

Dudley: "Ewww! This stuff is a lot grosser than the chunky pea soup that my mom made for dinner last week!"

Keswick: "Sorry about that, Agent Puppy! I guess the Mecha-Monkey 4000 was peh-peh-peh-programmed to 'slime' and not 'climb'!"

Kitty: "It's okay, Dudley. We'll just clean that stuff off you in no time."

Whitnee: "Are things always like this here at T.U.F.F. HQ?"

Kitty: "All the time, but you get pretty used to it after an hour or two."

Dudley: "You said it, Kitty... Getting slimed by one of Keswick's inventions each week is nothing new to me!"

Whitnee: (giggles) "You know what? I think I'm going to enjoy being a T.U.F.F. agent."

Dudley, Kitty, Whitnee, Keswick, and the Mecha-Monkey 4000 then strike a happy pose.
