Vanessa Brizuella

Here is a picture that I did as a late birthday gift for my friend : A picture of his original character, a female bat named Vanessa Brizuella, in my original cartoon style. After realizing that my friend's birthday was coming up, I was in the mood for drawing a picture that I would be able to complete in time for his birthday (or at least a day later because of his birthday also taking place on St. Patrick's Day), especially after promising to do some fan art of his character whenever I got the chance. For this picture I've done, I was able to draw Vanessa looking very tough the way she's seen posing in her fighting attire, which I tried to make as detailed as possible when drawing her for the very first time. As I was coloring the picture in, I was able to use a dark purple texture for the background, and I decided to fill up much of the empty space by adding white stars in different sizes. The picture turned out really nice after being completed, and I just know that my friend will love it no matter what.
