Here is a picture that I did of Goldie Fox with a bunch of unmatched socks, which I did as part of a contest entry for one of my friends. Needless to say, this is yet another picture that I actually completed recently, and I normally don't post pictures that I've done recently until after I post my older artwork on here, but I had to post it earlier so that I wouldn't miss the deadline. Anyway, the theme for the contest that I did this picture for involves drawing one of my original characters in a situation based on an actual song. And so, I decided to create a picture based on the song "Where Do My Socks Go?" by Ray Stevens, and I chose my original character Goldie Fox to be featured in it because of her being a character that loves to wear socks all the time. As you can tell, Goldie looks quite disappointed that she's unable to match any of the socks she has taken out of the dryer, and she exclaims "All I could find was thirteen socks, and not a one of the darn things match!", which happens to be one of the lines in the song. Unfortunately, I am unable to find the lyrics for this song (or any videos on YouTube containing it, ironically), but it can be found on the CD "Ray Stevens - 20 Comedy Hits", which is where I originally heard the song from. Even so, this picture turned out incredibly nice after being completed, and it's sure to please my friends as well.
