Feeling Uninspired And Emotional...

Journal Entry: Fri Jul 24, 2015, 12:38 PM

I have decided to post this journal entry to let everyone know how I've been feeling lately... As you can probably tell by my recent artwork that I was able to post on here not too long ago, I haven't actually had much luck being able to draw as many pictures that everyone I know would be interested in seeing me work on, primarily because I've been dealing with a creative block that's kept me from figuring out what to draw on my own, and I also haven't been able to do many art trades and/or commission pictures as I had hoped, which has also been keeping me down because I'm kind of worried that no one actually cares about what I'm able to draw, even when I do try to let everyone know that I'm still open for drawing pictures as gifts, commisions, etc. for anyone else who is interested.

Speaking of which, I've actually sort of gave up on drawing pictures as birthday gifts/requests for my friends and watchers that I would be able to work on for each month at the moment, mostly because there was hardly anyone who was nice enough to ask me to draw something in time for their birthday since last month, and the friends that I was actually hoping to draw birthday-themed gifts for didn't seem to let me know what to draw for them for some strange reason, in which I'd then have to ask them personally (and I've always been the kind of person who really hates to ask because I'm afraid of being told "no" for something that I feel is completely necessary). Believe me, I do not take too kindly to rejection unless it's for an understandable reason that I'm usually able to agree with, and just being told "no" for the wrong reasons always tends to make me feel like I'm some kind of a failure who should just end his life once and for all.

Now, I know that may have sounded kind of extreme, but I'm just trying to explain how I sometimes feel about these kind of emotions, especially if they always seem to happen to me while trying my best to get along with everyone I know here on DeviantArt. I don't even understand why anyone would be afraid of asking me to draw something for them, or at least give me suggestions of what they'd like to see me drawing, because I'm actually an aspiring cartoon artist whose talent has greatly approved over time, and I think it should be kind of important for any of my supporters being able to provide me with some creative ideas in case I don't get the urge to draw anything on my own. Heck, if I were to leave this site, I don't really know how everyone else would react unless they were to prove that I am not just a good artist, but a good friend to them as well. I'll admit, this is kind of a confusing time for me, and I just want to continue drawing the same way as some of my other artist friends including :iconcottoncattailtoony: and :iconshinragod:, who always seem to be inspired by the support they always receive while I tend to get left behind as always.

Anthro and Human Characters: My Thoughts

Journal Entry: Fri Jul 3, 2015, 1:44 PM
Skin by TMNT-Raph-fan

Because I've been feeling kind of bored lately, I would just like to talk about something that's been on my mind for quite some time now... As you can tell from checking out my art gallery here on DeviantArt, I happen to be a cartoon artist who absolutely loves to draw pictures involving anthropomorphic animal characters all the time, and I'm not usually able to draw many pictures involving human characters. The reason I feel like wanting to discuss this particular topic with all of my friends on here is because, to be completely honest, I don't really care for certain types of human characters as much as some people may realize. In fact, I'm actually starting to find most human characters who appear in cartoon shows, movies, video games, etc. that I'm able to enjoy to be rather dull and unappealing to me; Not to mention they're just too common in every form of media, and they're practically a 'dime a dozen' in my opinion.

Now I can understand that human characters are usually meant to be based on people in real life, which is quite easy to relate to (especially if it's a fictional character based on a famous celebrity or whatever), but I seem to have lost my interest in those kind of characters some time ago ever since I began focusing only on anthro animal characters. I guess the reason that I've stopped liking most human characters over the years is because I've never really been what others would probably refer to as a 'people person', especially since I happen to be an incredibly shy person in real life, and I don't really like talking to people face-to-face that much for some strange reason. I know this may sound kind of alarming to everyone when I say this, but I think I'm actually starting to hate human people altogether because everyone I try to socialize with in both real life and/or the internet tends to act kinda selfish and unsupporting towards me (especially whenever I'm trying to share something and/or participate in some kind of project that I just want to be a part of) unless they're just being nice and friendly, and I actually do try my best to be nice to everyone since I've never been a truly bad person in anyway at all.

And while I'm on the topic, I sometimes feel that anthro animals characters don't get as much appeal as they deserve when there is a TV show, movie, video game, etc. that involves those kind of characters. One perfect example would the Nintendo DS game "Solatorobo: Red The Hunter", in which most of the characters happen to be humanoid dogs and humanoid cats, and I actually find them to be much more appealing than just about all of the human characters that appeared in all other video game series that have come out such as "Mass Effect" and "Gears Of War". Even so, I still don't understand why some people don't like those kind of characters at all or that much, and they've always had a certain kind of charm to me for as long as I can remember. Speaking of which, I was actually able to check out a teaser trailer for the new Disney animated movie "Zootopia" when I was able to see "Inside Out" in theaters recently, and it was sure to please as well as interest me because of how much I really love anthro animal characters, especially if they're the kind of animals that are furry (but not hoofed, BTW), and I would also plan to go out and see the movie whenever it comes out in Spring 2016.

OCs Meme

Journal Entry: Tue Jun 23, 2015, 2:10 PM
Skin by TMNT-Raph-fan

Taken from my good friend :iconshinragod::

1. Your first OC ever?
The first original character I've ever created was a cartoon dalmatian named Lucky, whom I created back when I was in seventh grade, and I've tried to bring him back not too long ago as well.

2. Do you have a personal favorite among your OCs?
I would probably have to say Whitnee Squirrel because she is character I've created who turned out very nice and lovely ever since I drew her back in 2009, and I still enjoy drawing her to this day. :D

3. Have you ever adopted a character or gotten a character from someone else?
Yes, I have adopted a character that was given away for free, which is a female fox character with colorful fur named Kati, although I feel like I should try to draw some newer pictures of her as well.

4. A character you rarely talk about?
I would have to say Melanie Squirrel, whom I created to be a rival of Whitnee (the original verison of my character) who would was meant to be the typical snob character who would act all jealous toward her.

5. If you could make only one of your OCs popular/known, who would it be?
I would definitely choose Whitnee Squirrel because of her being my most favorite character that I've ever created, and I even tried to make her quite unique by making her a gal who loves video games and anything related to Japan while trying to put her in many clever situations to appeal to everyone I know.

6. Two OCs of yours that look alike despite not being related?
I'd definitely have to say both the original version and "T.U.F.F. Puppy" version of Whitnee Squirrel; Even though they both share the same name and one of the characters was inspired by the other, they are actually meant to be different from each other despite the similarities.

7. Are your OCs part of any story or stories?
Yes, I have created quite a few characters for the "T.U.F.F. Puppy" universe, most notably my Team Shinobi characters, who would also be loosely inspired by the 1980s/1990s cartoon version of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

8. Do you RP as any of your OCs? If you do, introduce one of your RP OCs here!
Yes, I quite a few role-plays involving my characters. One of them would include Betty Bat:

Betty Bat's Quality Time by CaseyDecker

9. Would you ever be willing to give any of your OCs to someone else?
Probably not, but I would be willing to let people borrow my original characters nonetheless.

10. Is there any OC of yours you could describe as a “sunshine”?
Yes, I would have to say Shizu Siam because of her being a character who is very friendly and polite.

11. Name an OC that isn’t yours but who you like a lot.
I would have to say Sabina The Saluki, who is a female dog character created by my best friend :iconsillkung: that I love to draw because of how lovely she is.

12. Do you have any troublemaker OCs?
Yes, I would definitely have to say my "T.U.F.F. Puppy" villain characters, especially The Water Wolf, whom I created to act like a bully with a body composed entirely of water, hence the name.

13. Introduce an OC with a tragic backstory:
Goldie Fox is a character I've created whose mother was killed in a car accident on the day of her high school graduation, and her father would even try to commit suicide to othercome the lost of his wife afterwards, which can be explained in this short story that I've done a while back: fav.me/d5bo9tf

14. Which one of your OCs would be the best at biology (school subject)?
I'd probably have to say Brandon Fox because I originally intended him to be the nerdy type who also becomes the boyfriend of Goldie Fox.

15. Any OC OTPs?
I'm actually kind of curious to know what those are, so please someone tell me ASAP. :eager:

16. Any OC crackships?
I don't know exactly what those are, so I think I'll pass...

17. Introduce an OC that means a lot to you (and explain why)
Lucky Dalmatian is actually an important character to me because he was one of the very first characters I've ever created on my own back when I was in seventh grade, and I remember that I used to draw pictures involving him a lot before I was able to create my current characters that I draw, including Whitnee Squirrel and Goldie Fox.

18. Do any of your OCs sing? If they sing, care to share more details (headcanon voice, what kind of songs they like etc)?
No, I don't really have any characters who actually sing at the moment, but I do have a few of them who are fans of music nonetheless. :blushes:

19. Your most artistic OC?
I don't think I have a character with artistic talent other than my fursona, Casey Squirrel.

20. Is there any OC of yours people tend to mischaracterize? If yes, how?
Yes, I suppose I've had some people mischaracterize Whitnee Squirrel a little differently, most notably the way they're able to draw her hairstyle, since she's supposed to have a go-go hairstyle with flat bangs.

21. Introduce an OC that has changed from your first idea concerning what the character would be like.
I would have to say the "T.U.F.F. Puppy" version of Whitnee Squirrel, who was originally meant to be the same character, but then I decided to create her as an entirely different character while keeping her name and style, especially after being partially inspired by the popularity of my friend :iconshinragod:'s original character, Lady Malmsteen, whom I'm also a fan of like everyone else.

22. If you could meet one OC of yours, who would it be and why?
I would have to say the orignal version of Whitnee Squirrel because she was a character who is based on my passion for video games, and I do try to draw pictures that would even focus on Whitnee's love for video games as well. ;)

23. The OC that resembles you the most (same hobby, height, shared like/dislike for something etc?)
That would be my fursona, Casey Squirrel, who is basically a furry version of myself. 'Nuff said.

24. Have you ever had to change your OC’s design or something else about them against your will?
No, I actually keep my original characters just the way they are.

25. Any OCs that were inspired by a certain song?
No, I don't think I have any characters who were inspired by any songs at all.

26. Your most dangerous OC?
I would definitely have to say Yami Squirrel, whom I created to be the evil twin sister of Whitnee in the "T.U.F.F. Puppy" universe, and she would constantly try to defeat and/or humiliate her peace-loving sister no matter how many times she fails to do so.

27. Which one of your OCs would most likely have a secret stuffed animal collection?
I would probably have to say Betty Bat because of her being a teenage girl, and she would even have a stuffed toy of a naked mole rat as well. ;)

28. Pick one OC of yours and explain what their tumblr blog would be like.
I've never actually used Tumblr before, so I think I'll pass on such a topic...

29. Which one of your OCs would be the most suitable horror game protagonist, and why?
I think it's kind of obvious, but I would have to say Whitnee and/or Jade because of them being girls who are into video games. ;)

30. Your shyest OC?
That would probably have to be Skyler Fox, who is the autistic younger brother of Goldie, and he would also speak very little to everyone who interacts with him as well.

31. Do you have any twin characters?
As I've mentioned before, Whitnee and Yami are a pair of twin characters from the "T.U.F.F. Puppy" universe, and they would also be rivals of each other as well.

32. Any sibling characters?
Yes, I have a few other sibling characters, which include: Jade Squirrel (the younger sister of the original version of Whitnee Squirrel), Fred Fox (the older brother of Goldie Fox), and Skyler Fox (the younger brother of Goldie Fox).

33. Do you have OC pairs where the other part belongs to someone else (siblings, lovers, friends etc)?
Yes, I suppose Whitnee and Jade would count because of Jade originally being created by my good friend :iconwolf492:.

34. Introduce an OC who is not quite human.
I don't really have any characters who are like that, since most of them happen to be anthro animals... :blushes:

35. Which one of your OCs would be the best dancer?
I would have to say Amber Chipmunk because of her being a character who has a fond passion for music, and she'd love to dance as well.

36. Introduce any character you want.
Rita Cheetah is a character I've created who is the best friend of Goldie Fox, and she's a very athletic gal who loves to play sports and workout all the time. One notable thing about her would be the fact that she often wears a sweatband that always matches the color of her socks that she wears with each of her outfits.

37. Any fond memories linked to your characters? Feel free to share!
I remember that I once had a dream inspired by the Disney animated movie "Wreck-It Ralph", in which I dreamt about Whitnee and Jade being the stars of a Japanese-themed arcade video game, and they'd even be able to interact with the characters from other video games almost like in the movie that my dream was based on as well.

38. Has anyone drawn fanart of your OCs? If yes, maybe show a picture or two.
Yes, I've had quite a few friends of mine drawing fan art of my original characters, and here are just a few of my favorites that I'd like share as well:

Team Shinobi by ICartoonFantic Rest From A Jog by Marquis2007 Tickling The Squirrel Sisters by RBM-Ink
Volleyball Stars by GeminiJC Betty Bat by Creative-Dreamr Whitnee Squirrel by shinragod

39. Do you have any certain type when you create your OCs? Do you tend to favour some certain traits or looks? It’s time to confess.
No, I just usually create my characters based on whatever ideas I have that are on my mind, and I'm even able to create some characters based on other things that inspire me to continue drawing as well.

40. Something you like about your OCs in general?
I've always liked the cartoony style that I'm able to draw my original characters, which has greatly improved over the years ever since I was able to create all kinds of characters that I like to draw.

41. A character you no longer use?
I would probably have to say Candi Cat and her best friend, Silvia Squirrel, who were a couple of younger female characters that I've created before I was able to discover DeviantArt.

42. Has anyone ever told you that you treat your OCs badly?
Yes, I've had quite a few internet trolls accuse me of mistreating Skyler Fox just because he's a character I've created who has autism. :(

43. Has anyone ever (friendly) claimed any of your OCs as their child?
No, I don't think so, and I certainly hope not...

44. OC who is a perfect cinnamon roll, too good for this world, too pure?
I don't really know, and I wouldn't exactly consider Whitnee to be that perfect, either... :blushes:

45. Which one of your OCs would most likely enjoy memes?
I would probably have to say Brandon Fox because he would be into computer stuff, which I've decided would be his job as well. ;)

46. Give me the good ol’ OC talk here. Talk about anything you want:
I feel like wanting to thank all of my friends here on DeviantArt who were always so nice and supportive to me, which has helped me continue drawing pictures involving some of my favorite characters that I've created over the years, and I also feel a bit more appreciated whenever someone's able to ask me to draw something for them as well. :)

I have some important news that I'd like to share with all my friends here on DeviantArt... My sister was able to give birth to her baby daughter just recently, so that means as of today, I am now officially an uncle. I was actually spending the past couple of days at my sister's house taking care of her pet dogs while she and her boyfriend were at the hospital, but I was able to get the news from my mother, who was able to visit the hospital while taking a couple of pictures of my sister's baby. Now that I have a niece, I'm rather quite anxious to become an uncle for the first time, especially because I'm having kind of a hard time trying to figure out what to with my life; Even though I do know how to live on my own and take really good care of myself, I still have such a difficult time trying to socialize with everyone in person or even try to get a job that suits me (as long as I have a way to get around from place to place, since I don't have a driver's license at all). I can understand that I shouldn't have to worry so much about these sort of things that tend to keep me down, but as long as I have friends and family who are always so supportive of me, I think I should be okay with my life as long as I'm happy with the way things are going for me, and I'll try to be a good uncle as well.

TMNT/Ghostbusters Crossover: My Thoughts

Journal Entry: Thu May 21, 2015, 1:39 PM
Skin by TMNT-Raph-fan

Even though I've almost given up hope on posting anymore journals that involve me sharing anything random on my mind with my friends, I'm actually starting to feel a little better about myself after a short hiatus, and I have something I'd like to share my thoughts about that I feel is also kind of important, especially to any of my friends who happen to be die-hard fans of "Ghostbusters" and/or "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles"... Some time ago, a comic book company called IDW was able to publish a crossover story about the characters from the TMNT universe ending up in the world of the Ghostbusters, and here's what I thought about such a concept after learning about it:

:iconletter-tplz::iconletter-oplz::iconletter-tplz::iconletter-aplz::iconletter-lplz::iconletter-lplz::iconletter-yplz:
:iconletter-aplz::iconletter-wplz::iconletter-eplz::iconletter-splz::iconletter-oplz::iconletter-mplz::iconletter-eplz:
:iconletter-aplz::iconletter-nplz::iconletter-dplz:   :iconletter-eplz::iconletter-pplz::iconletter-iplz::iconletter-cplz:

As you can probably guess, I absolutely loved TMNT & Ghostbusters so much ever since I was a kid, and I totally did not expect such a crossover story to be made involving two of the coolest franchises from the 1980s that just about everyone knows and loves (including yours truly), which was just to good to be true at the time. Just a while back, IDW had published some newer comic book stories featuring the Ninja Turtles as well as a comic book series featuring the Ghostbusters, and both series would eventually come together in one of the most unexpected yet clever concepts ever done since Marvel and DC had come together as another company called Amalgam Comics to create new comic book heroes based on their existing characters. Anyway, the crossover story of TMNT and Ghostbusters was released as a four-issue mini-series, in which I was able to buy a copy of the first issue of at a local comic book store on the weekend of my birthday (the very same weekend of this year's Super Bowl), and I decided to purchase the paperback book containing all four issues as soon as it became available recently. Needless to say, I think it was definitely worth every penny, especially if it was rather affordable on my budget.

Because I don't want to reveal too much about the plot for anyone else who is interested in checking it out for themselves, I will try to explain the story with a short explaination... The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael) are able to test out a new teleportation system that Donatello had created with a fellow scientist who is friends with him, and they are also accompanied by their other friends, April O' Neal and Casey Jones, when they try it out. Upon doing so, however, the scientist accidentally touches the wrong switch while trying to swat a fly bothering him, which results in the heroes being teleported to an alternate version of New York City, which happens to be the home of the Ghostbusters (Peter Veikman, Ray Stanz, Egon Spengler, and Winston Zeddemore). Almost immidiately after arriving, an evil god-like spirit from the Ninja Turtles' own dimension shows up to wreak havock and tries to take over the world. The Ninja Turtles then eventually team up with the Ghostbusters to stop the villain while being able to introduce themselves to each other and finding a way to get the Turtles, April, and Casey back to their home.

Just like in many of the comic books that are being produced today, the art style that was used for the TMNT/Ghostbusters crossover story looks very nice and impressive for sure, and I'm even able to notice the different art styles for each of the comic universes that the story would take place in. For instance, the TMNT characters are first seen in the art style from the comic book series when they are in their home world, and whenever we see them end up in the world of the Ghostbusters, they are then shown in the art style from the "Ghostbusters" comic series; Needless to say, the Ninja Turtles actually looked very much like they did in the 2003 cartoon series whenever they appear in the Ghostbusters' dimension, and they even have the same green-colored skins as their cartoon counterparts as well. As for the Ghostbusters characters, I also like how the Ghostbusters closely resembled themselves from the original movies, and I even imagined hearing the voices of the actors who played them (including Harold Ramis, who had just passed away last year) in my head as I was reading the story from beginning to end. Besides the action sequences involving the Ninja Turtles and Ghostbusters fighting the evil spirit and his army of followers, I also liked the moments with all the characters being able to interact with each other, especially since the characters have quite a few similarities involving their personalities, such as Peter and Raphael being the smart-aleck types and Donatello and Egon being scientific geniuses. Because of how much work was put into making this amazing crossover, the story was definitely well-written in such a unique way, and it also kinda inspires me to do something like this for my new pictures and stories that I would become interested in working on; In fact, I might even want to try doing a crossover story of my own that involves the "T.U.F.F. Puppy" characters (including my Team Shinobi characters) being able to meet Nickelodeon cartoon version of the TMNT characters in some clever way. Other than that, I would totally recommend picking up a copy of the TMNT/Ghostbusters crossover story wherever you may find it, and it's sure to please anyone who is a huge fan of crossovers involving two or more franchises coming together in many creative ways.

Because of April almost being over with for this year, I have decided to start accepting ideas for birthday gifts/requests for all my friends' birthday that take place in May. Even though I have been recently dealing with some personal issues involving me not being able to work on any commission and/or art trade pictures for anyone who is interested, I am pretty much over it for now, and I also hope that my friends would even be nice enough to provide me with some ideas for pictures they'd like to see me draw for them if I'm having kind of a difficult time trying to think of something on my own (as long as it's nothing too complicated, that is). In case anybody is wondering what I usually able to draw for birthday gifts/requests, here is a couple of lists involving types of characters that I can draw as well as types of characters that I cannot draw:

Leonardo and Michelangelo: My Thoughts

Journal Entry: Sat Apr 18, 2015, 1:56 PM
Skin by TMNT-Raph-fan

After being able to watch various episodes of all three TMNT cartoon series not too long ago, I feel like wanting to discuss something that's been on my mind lately, which involves talking about my favorite Ninja Turtle character(s) of all time. Now, I'm sure that everyone I know who is a huge fan of TMNT as much as myself has their own unique opinions about which characters they love most in any version of the series, which I would gladly share as well. For this topic, the two characters that I've decided to give my personal opinions about are the ones who have been on my mind for quite some time - Leonardo and Michelangelo.

As you may probably guess, a lot of people that I know have claimed that Leonardo is their favorite Ninja Turtle, and for very good reason: He's the leader of the team who is skilled in fighting by using a pair of twin katanas, which definitely makes him the most butt-kicking hero in the entire franchise. In all the different versions of TMNT that have come out over the years, Leonardo (or 'Leo' for short) is usually portrayed as the fearless leader is very noble and brave when fighting the forces of evil, and he's even willing to sacrifice his own life in order to save his friends and family (namely, his brothers and Splinter). Because of how selfless and caring he is for a ninja hero, this makes him such an appealing character for everyone to focus on, especially when he is involved in some of the more notable scenarios in every version of the series that has come out over the years, such as the time he tried to take on the entire Foot Clan and Shredder all by himself and was nearly killed as a result (which can also be seen in the two-part Season 2 finale of the Nickelodeon cartoon series, I might add). Despite what he may go through while trying to become a very skilled ninja warrior, it's a safe assumption that Leonardo has a lot of supporters and fans who always enjoy watching him save the day with help from the other Ninja Turtles that we know and love.

Even though I do find Leo to be such an awesome and appealing character in the world of TMNT (the same also goes for Donatello and Raphael), my most favorite Ninja Turtle happens to be Michelangelo, who has always been one of my favorite heroes ever since I was a kid. Michelangelo (or 'Mikey' for short) is usually portrayed as the fun-loving party animal with a colorful sense of humor while also being skilled at fighting bad guys with a pair of nunchucks, and there are only a few slight differences between each of his counterparts in all three versions of the cartoon series as well. In the classic version of the TMNT cartoon series from the 1980s/1990s, Michelangelo is able to speak in the accent of a surfer dude, which makes him sound pretty cool and likeable (especially when he says catchphrases such as "Cowabunga!"), and he's also known for his obsession with pizza while using gross ideas for toppings; In every episode to come out since the fourth season, however, he was no longer seen using his nunchucks because of them being a weapon that's considered "too violent" in certain parts of the world that the franchise is released in, and he's seen using a grapping hook as his main weapon instead. In the 2003 version of the cartoon series, Michelangelo has kind of an obsession with all kinds of media such as movies and comic books, and he's also able to tell some bad jokes that often annoy Raph; Some notable moments involving Michelangelo in that version of the series would include him being able to pose as a masked superhero known as the 'Turtle Titan' as well as becoming the champion of the Battle Nexus tournament that was held in an otherworldly dimension. In the 2012 version of the cartoon series that is still being shown on Nickelodeon, Michelangelo is portrayed as the kid of the group who does tend to annoy his brothers quite often, but he's also shown to be the one member of the team who has more heart and spirit that allows him to never give up on anything, and he even has kind of a talent for coming up with many clever nicknames for just about everything as well (including inventions that Donnie is able to create, mutant characters that the Ninja Turtles are able to encounter, etc.); Even though I feel that Mikey doesn't get much respect from his brothers in this version of the series, especially whenever he's just being himself without even trying to annoy everyone, he is still a very appealing character who has also had plenty of great moments that involved him being able to save the day nonetheless.

Point Commissions - Open Again

Journal Entry: Thu Apr 16, 2015, 1:48 PM
Skin by TMNT-Raph-fan

After giving some thought while taking a short break recently, I have decided to go ahead and continue doing point commissions for anyone who is interested. I feel kind of bad for what I posted in my previous journal entry because I've actually been feeling rather stressed about the way commissions have been going for me after announcing my newer prices just a while ago. It's just that whenever some of my friends that I know are able to open up commissions, art trades, etc., I feel like I should be able to do the same, especially since my cartoon skills have actually improved quite well these past few years, and I'm glad that everyone is starting to notice how talented I really am despite my shyness and occasional stubbornness. Even though I don't have much use for the points that I collect (other than spending them on commissions for anyone else accepting them), I think I should try to remain open to draw for everyone without getting anymore crazy ideas about me feeling neglected and/or unappreciated for whatever reason. Other than that, I really appreciate any support from my friends while continuing to draw for everyone else.

R.I.P. Whitnee Squirrel - April Fools' Prank

Journal Entry: Wed Apr 1, 2015, 11:53 AM
Skin by TMNT-Raph-fan

I am posting this journal entry to all my friends and watchers here on DeviantArt because I have an important announcement to make...

I have decided not to draw any more pictures involving my beloved character, Whitnee Squirrel. That's right, I have officially decided to retire her permanently while being able to draw whatever I feel like from now on. The reason that I've decided to make such a drastic change is because no one seems to respect her that much, and I feel like I'm the only person who ever seems to care so much about her along with only a handful of novice artists. In case anybody's wondering, I am not just talking about the original version of Whitnee that I created back in 2009 that will stop drawing; I will also be giving up on my "T.U.F.F. Puppy" character of the same name, who was loosely inspired by own character while also being something completely original despite the similarities between both characters. I was kind of hoping that everyone would be able to find her just as appealing as some of the other "T.U.F.F. Puppy" fan characters that were created by some of my friends, especially Lady Malmsteen, whom everyone (including myself) seems to love some much that they're able to draw fan art involving them, and I sometimes wish that some of my friends would being able to do the same thing for me every once in a while to show they really do care for me. In fact, I've even received a note from some random troll a while back telling me that Whitnee will never be as good of a character like Lady Malmsteen in a million years, and that I'd better just give up on continuing drawing her just to appeal to everyone that I know. Because of some of the personal stress that I've been undergoing for some time now, I was able to face the facts that he/she could have actually been right all along, and I have decided to quit even while I'm ahead; Needless to say, the picture that I'll be posting on here also happens to be the last picture I've done featuring the "T.U.F.F. Puppy" version of my character that I would ever get to draw. All I ever wanted to do was create an appealing character whom everyone was sure to find really cute and/or sexy, which was kind of a personal goal that I've had ever since I became a proud user of DA a few years ago while also trying to perfect my cartoon skills. I think it's also sad to know that I would even receive a bunch of hurtful comments about my artwork that are completely unnecessary and hurtful, which have also gotten to the point where I just want to deactivate my DA account and start all over again. Until that happens, I'm just going to have to stop drawing Whitnee forever in order to keep her from being a waste of my cartoon talent, and I also have one more thing that I need to say right before the day is over...

Skin by TMNT-Raph-fan

Because March is about to come to an for end this year, I have decided to start accepting requests as birthday gifts for all my friends whose birthdays will be taking place in April. Even though I am now doing commissions for cash after opening a PayPal account recently, I can still draw pictures as gifts for anyone who is interested every now and then. In fact, I'm kind of hoping that I will be able to earn a little extra spending money for myself while also being able to ask for some commissions from anyone else, especially since I'm trying to become more open to drawing for certain people (such as my good friends :iconmintymousyxfce: and :iconshinragod:) without me feeling like some kind of neglected outcast that nobody likes for some unknown reason, which has actually been kind of bothering me for some time now, and I just want to be treated the same way as some of my other friends that I know, including the ones that I mentioned. Other than that, here is a list of characters that I am usually able to draw for requests as well as a list of characters that I prefer not to drawn for requests:

Commission Prices - Cash and Points

Journal Entry: Mon Mar 23, 2015, 1:13 PM
Skin by TMNT-Raph-fan

I am posting this journal entry as a way of making a kind of important announcment that I'd like to make to all my friends and watchers who have enjoyed checking out my cartoon artwork for quite a while now... I was able to set up a PayPal account for myself just recently, and I have officially decided to start accepting commissions for cash from now on. In case anybody is wondering, I will still be accepting point commissions for anyone who's interested, but I will also be changing the costs for point commissions to match the costs of money commissions as well; The price changes did not actually take effect until the day after this journal entry was posted, but for those who have point commissions that I'm currently in the middle of working on, they will not at all be affected by the price change, and I will try to get to work on the pictures whenever I get the chance to do so. Speaking of which, I have decided to get rid of the additional costs for the choice of background styles because of it being somewhat unnessecary, and I've also decided to add additional costs for pictures involving three or more characters from now on, in which pictures with just one or two characters involved will not be affected by this change. After giving some thought for how much I've decided to charge for my cartoon artwork, here is a list of prices for each picture that I will be able to draw for everyone:

COMMISSION PRICES (USD / POINTS):

$1.00 / 100 :points: - Black & White Picture (AKA Line Art), One/Two Characters

$2.50 / 250 :points: - Black & White Picture (AKA Line Art), Three Or More Characters

$5.00 / 500 :points: - Colored Picture Without Shading, One/Two Characters

$7.50 / 750 :points: - Colored Picture Without Shading, Three Or More Characters

$10.00 / 1000 :points: - Colored Picture With Shading, One/Two Characters

$12.50 / 1250 :points: - Colored Picture With Shading, Three Or More Characters

Because I'll be making me payments via PayPal for my commissions, I am also curious to know if there's anyone else who is currently accepting cash and/or points for commissions that I'm willing to purchase, so that way I would be able to spend some money or points on some pictures that I could ask to draw as well. In case anyone is wondering, I'll still be accepting art trades, but only to those whom I consider as very close friends to me here on DeviantArt, and I'll even continue doing birthday-themed requests for each month as well. Other than that, I really do hope that I'll be able to draw plenty of pictures for anyone who's interested, and that I'll even make a little extra money for my efforts as a cartoon artist.

Ten Favorite OCs II - 2 SLOTS LEFT

Journal Entry: Sun Mar 15, 2015, 2:36 PM
Skin by TMNT-Raph-fan

Taken from my good friends :icontuffagentshepherd: and :iconthedogwhitatail::

For the first ten people who post a comment on my journal entry, I will post the names of that artist and a picture of one of their original characters that I love most whenever I get around to updating my journal. In return, you much re-post the journal entry of whomever posted it and include myself on the list as well (optional). Thank you, and enjoy!

NOTE: I can only feature pictures of OCs that are drawn by the actual artists and not somebody else; Otherwise, it will not count at all, and the artist will not be featured on the list.

#1 - The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge by TUFFAgentShepherd Allison Retriever - :icontuffagentshepherd:

Even though I have featured Niles Crocston in a similar journal entry that I posted a while back, I have decided to feature one of the other Team Katswell characters that I also love just as much. And so, I would have to go with Allison because of her being a character who is quite stylish and lovely for a cousin of Dudley Puppy, and I've also been able to draw her quite a few times in my original style in some "T.U.F.F. Puppy" fan art that I like to draw as well.

#2 - Burn F. Firelaon(t.u.f.f oc's) by Marmartota2001 Burn F. Firelaon - :iconmarmartota2001:

Even though I've just started checking out this artist's pictures after seeing a few pictures that she was able to post recently, I have decided to include this "TU.F.F. Puppy" character that she was able to create not too long ago, which I also found to be kind of interesting, which is all I can really say about her.

#3 - Cherry at the beach by MattMiles Cherry - :iconmattmiles:

I actually had kind of a difficult time trying to decide which original character I found to be most appealing after checking out this artist's gallery, so I decided to go with this cute-looking character that I was able to find. There doesn't seem to be many pictures of this character to find in the gallery, but she still looks very nice and cute nonetheless.

#4 - Bowling Lois by LouisEugenioJR Lois Squirrel - :iconlouiseugeniojr:

As you can probably guess, I was able to draw my friend's squirrel character, Louis, plenty of times ever since I became friends with him on DeviantArt, and I also find the female version of his character (named Lois) to be kind of cute as well. The way that my friend was able to draw her, she does have kind of an uncanny resemblance to my original character, Whitnee Squirrel, but I don't really mind as long as I know that my friend was actually inspired by my artwork to draw pictures of his own characters.

#5 - 2015!! by TheDogwhitaTail Richard Puppy - :iconthedogwhitatail:

Even though I've just started checking out my friend's gallery for a while now, one of his original characters that came to mind when I was deciding which character to feature on the list would have to be his "T.U.F.F. Puppy" character, Richard Puppy, who is supposed to be the cousin/brother of Dudley. Another reason I've decided to include him on the list is because I was able to draw him in a picture that I did as a late birthday gift not too long ago, but I also hope to draw more of his other characters in my original style as well.

#6 - Frida Wearing One Shoe by KBAFourthtime Frida Lion - :iconkbafourthtime:

As you can probably tell just by checking out my gallery, I have been able to draw many pictures of my friend's original characters in my cartoon style plenty of times, and I find his characters to be quite appealing as well. If I had to decide which character I liked most, it would have to be Frida Lion, who happens to be the sister of his main character, Kirianna Lion. I've always found Frida to be just as nice and cute as Kirianna, especially when she is seen in a pair of blue sneakers with white socks, which my friend has been able to draw her wearing at least a few times with her usual outfit.

#7 - Sammy Skunk by MidnightDarkFox Sammy Skunk - :iconmidnightdarkfox:

After being able to check out this artists' gallery, I was able to notice that a lot of her original characters that she created were Sonic OCs, but I actually had no trouble trying to decide which of her characters I liked most. And so, I decided to go with Sammy, who is a female skunk that I found to be kind of lovely, especially in the drawing that was done of her in a new outfit, and I'm also willing to check out more pictures of her done by the artist as well.

#8 - New Female OC: Clarice Siegfried by J-Wolfe15 Clarice Siegfried - :iconj-wolfe15:

Even though I've known this artist after he was able to check out my artwork for a while now, I've never actually seen his gallery until just recently. It was kind of hard for me to find a character that I found appealing to me until I checked out a picture of a female wolf/dog character he created named Clarice, who looks quite athletic for a furry gal, and the outfits she's seen wearing in a couple of the pictures of her also look kinda nice on her as well. Because I'm usually into those kind of characters all the time, I wouldn't actually mind being able to draw her just to she how she'd look in my original cartoon style.

Birthday Requests - March 2015

Journal Entry: Tue Feb 24, 2015, 1:37 PM
Skin by TMNT-Raph-fan

Because of March being less than a week away, I have decided to start accepting birthday-themed requests for my friends and/or watchers whose birthdays take place in March. As I may have mentioned before in my previous journal entries, I am able to accept requests about a week before the end of each month so that I can have enough time to work on some pictures that I'd be willing to draw in time for everyone's birthday. Even though I have been kind of struggling when trying to get some of my pictures done, I'm still hoping to draw more pictures for anyone who is interested, and I'm also planning on opening a PayPal account so I can earn a little extra money for myself by accepting commissions for cash instead of points. In case anybody is wondering what I'm usually able to draw, here are a couple of lists involving the types of characters that I can draw as well as the types of characters that I cannot draw:

TYPES OF CHARACTERS THAT I CAN DRAW:

My Birthday Weekend And Gift Art

Journal Entry: Tue Feb 3, 2015, 2:51 PM
Skin by TMNT-Raph-fan

In case anybody is curious to know how my weekend after my birthday went for me recently, I have decided to post this journal entry while also being able to show off some of my personal favorite pictures that I've received as birthday gifts from many of my friends here on DeviantArt. I'll admit, I was actually feeling pretty sad and lonely on the day of my birthday because no one was able to help me celebrate it because everyone else was busy doing other things at the time, but my mother and sister were nice enough to take me out to a local restaurant called Buffalo Wings & Rings for a post-birthay lunch on Saturday, which make me feel much better afterwards (especially after being able to order some fried pickle chips as an appetizer to go with my meal). Anyway, I was able to receive a lot of pictures that we drawn for me as birthday gifts for me this year, which have actually cheered me up a little bit when I was feeling down after the day of my birthday, and I didn't actually mind being able to receive some gifts from my friends that were a little late. And so, here is a list involving some of my personal favorite pictures that were drawn for my birthday with a description about each one:

Whitnee Kick! by solid32 - Drawn by :iconsolid32:

This was probably the first gift picture that I was able to check out on the day before my birthday, which is a picture of Whitnee Squirrel (the "T.U.F.F. Puppy" version of my original character) in her Team Shinobi uniform getting ready to kick some tail. I really like the way the artist was able to draw my character, especially because he seems to do a really fancy job in the exact same cartoon style as Butch Hartman, which does look exactly like the show that I love so very much.

Abby's Birthday Surprise by LouisEugenioJR Drawn by :iconlouiseugeniojr:

My good friend seems to enjoy drawing my Sonic fan character, Abby The Squirrel, and he was even nice enough to draw this birthday-themed picture of her as well. In this picture that was done for my birthday, he was able to draw Abby in an orange dress while holding up a birthday cake and holding onto her shoes that she took off, since she is a character I've created who actually likes to wear outfits with long socks, and my friend also knows how much of a sucker I am of socked feet.

Shizu Siam by Creative-Dreamr Drawn by :iconcreative-dreamr:

Here is an interesting picture that my friend did of Shizu Siam, the youngest member of Team Shinobi, in her original cartoon style. Needless to say, I really love the way my friend was able to draw Shizu in such a picture, and I also became kinda touched after she told me how much she loved my character and that she also found her to be cute with her crush on Dudley Puppy.

Frozen Whitnee by Tiny-Toons-Fan Drawn by :icontiny-toons-fan:

After being able to draw a picture for my friend's birthday not too long ago, my friend was nice enough to draw a picture as a birthday gift for me in return. And so, she was able to draw my original character, Whitnee Squirrel, in her red winter gown that was inspired by Queen Elsa's outfit from "Frozen", and the picture turned out really nice and beautiful for sure.

Kitty and Whitnee Sparring by TUFFAgentShepherd Drawn by :icontuffagentshepherd:

I kinda figured that my good friend would be able to draw a picture involving any of my "T.U.F.F. Puppy" characters as a birthday gift for me, and this picture he was able to draw was something that was a little different, which is a picture of Whitnee and Kitty getting ready to face off against each other. I'll admit, I was actually kind of anxious when checking out this picture because of how both characters were portrayed, especially since I know that Whitnee wouldn't have the heart to fight those that she considers her friends (even when practicing with real weapons). Even so, I appreciate my friend for being was able to draw my characters as always.

Tickled Squirrel N Wolf by Malort75 Drawn by :iconmalort75:

One thing's for sure, I totally wasn't expecting a picture involving Whitnee Squirrel and Cindy Wolf getting tickled in such a creative manner, which is what is seen happening in this picture that my friend did of both furry girls getting their feet tickled by a squid-like alien from outer space. Because the original character version of Whitnee happens to be a character with furry feet that are very soft and ticklish, I just knew that my friend would be able to draw a picture that involves her getting tickled in a completely random way, which turned out very nice as well.

HAPPY B-DAY CASEY!!! by YogurtPup Drawn by

Even though I was able to receive quite a few pictures involving my fursona, Casey Squirrel, here is a picture that was done of my female counterpart named Cassie showing off her paws in a cute manner. I don't really have much to say about the picture except that it was kind of nice, and I decided to include it on my list nonetheless.

Squirrel Cake by tellywebtoons Drawn by :icontellywebtoons:

I think it's a safe assumption that Whitnee would be the character that everyone I know would be able to draw for my birthday, and I actually love seeing how my friends are able to draw to draw her in their original style as well. For this picture that my friend did, she drew a picture of Whitnee in a fancy outfit that consists of a red dress and long purple gloves while standing in front of a large cake, which also looks very nice and lovely.

[Gift] Happy 29th Birthday Casey! by Gabrielianthenook Drawn by :icongabrielianthenook:

Here is a birthday-themed drawing that was done by my new friend, which involves my fursona, Casey Squirrel, celebrating my birthday with Whitnee Squirrel and a creepy-looking animatronic duplicate of Whitnee that was inspired by the popular game "Five Nights At Freddy's". Even though I've never actually played the game at all, I am aware of how freaky the game was after checking out a video of it on YouTube, and the drawing that my friend did as a birthday gift for me turned out very nice as well.

Hayai's tease (socked version) by MintyMousyXFCE Drawn by :iconmintymousyxfce:

Here is another picture that was done involving one of my Team Shinobi characters, this time being of Hayai Bunny, who happens to be Whitnee's best friend in the "T.U.F.F. Puppy" universe. For this picture that my good friend did as a birthday gift for me, he was able to draw Hayai sitting on a bed while showing off her feet in a sexy manner, which are covered in a pair of long white socks, and I've always been a real sucker for gals wearing those kind of socks as well. Needless to say, my friend also posted an alternate version of the picture that has Hayai's feet without socks, which is just as nice to check out.

Team Shinobi by ICartoonFantic Drawn by :iconicartoonfantic:

Because I was able to draw a picture for my friend's birthday after remembering that it was on the same month as mine, my dear friend was able to draw something in time for my birthday in return, which is a group picture of all five members of Team Shinobi - Whitnee Squirrel, Hayai Bunny, Shaun Inu, Mackey Que, and Shizu Siam. I've always loved the way my friend is able to draw characters from the "T.U.F.F. Puppy" universe in her original style, and I really like the way she was able to draw my characters for such a picture, which turned out really nice and stylish for sure.

Team Shinobi vs Neo RITA by shinragod Drawn by :iconshinragod:

Even though my good friend was a little late when posting a picture that he did for my birthday this year, it turned out to be something rather interesting yet awesome that I totally did not expect, which is a picture of my Team Shinobi characters facing off against an powerful version of R.I.T.A. (Keswick's computerized toaster from an episode of "T.U.F.F. Puppy") known as 'Neo R.I.T.A.', who has also captured their friends, Dudley and Kitty. This intense fight scene definitely reminded me of something from the 1980s/1990s cartoon version of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", which would also be the main inspiration for many of the story ideas and scenarios involving my Team Shinobi characters that I plan on doing soon, and I really appreciate my friend for being very supportive of me as always.

-----

Even though I wasn't able to include every picture that I received as gift art from my friends, I really did like all of the other pictures that were done in time for my birthday. I'd like to thank everyone else who was nice enough to draw something for me, and here's hoping that my next birthday will turn out to be much better after the way I've been feeling this year.

Birthday Announcement And Feelings

Journal Entry: Wed Jan 28, 2015, 2:08 PM
Skin by TMNT-Raph-fan

As everyone may probably already know, today happens to be my birthday, and I have decided to make an important announcement that might actually surprise everyone else on here: My sister will be giving birth to a baby girl sometime very soon, which also means that I will become an uncle as well. I was able to learn that my sister had become pregnant back when I came over to her house for Halloween not too long ago, and she was able to tell my mother and everyone else the news afterwards. This has been kind of a surprise for me for quite some time now, and I never got a chance to let my friends know until just recently after dealing with some personal issues that have made me feel rather emotional. I guess you can say that I should be happy for my sister and her boyfriend who will be having a child, but it does kind of make me re-focus on my own life...

For example, I haven't had an actual job for the past few years, since all I've been doing was drawing cartoons and playing video games while saving up my money that I get each month for some important things that I need and/or want. In case anybody is wondering, I have tried to get another job on my own, but I've never been successful at all, especially because when I do try to ask for a job, I'm always afraid that I'll be told "no" for some reason, which would usually crush my hopes and make me feel like some kind of loser that nobody likes. And also, because I don't have a driver's license and was never even taught how to drive, the only way I'm able to get around is by asking for a ride from someone or even walk around on foot (if where I need to go is not too far away, that is), which actually makes my life kinda rough for a guy in my situation.

Another thing that's been bothering me would be the fact that I don't really know what to do for a living besides drawing cartoons, which is something that I know I've always been good at doing, and my drawing skills have also become much better as time passed. I'm willing to show my cartoon skills to the public, but I've been extremely shy around people as long as I could remember, and I'm kind of worried that it will be getting much worse as I get older. I have actually tried to overcome my shyness lots of times ever since I was a kid, but nothing seems to work no matter how hard I try to become social like everyone I know; However, I tend to be a lot less shy whenever I'm having fun at a place such as an amusement park or even a movie theater, which seems to help me become a little more sociable most of the time.

Despite these negative feelings that have be plaguing me for quite some time now, I guess I should be feeling comfortable being able to tell everyone who's understanding about what was on my mind lately, especially after receiving so many messages as well as plenty of gift art from my friends, which has made by birthday fairly decent so far, and I really appreciate all the support that my friends have given me for a long time now. Even if their are times that feel kind of uneasy for me, I'll continue trying to be a good friend to everyone I know, and I also hope to become a good uncle as well.

Birthday Requests - February 2015

Journal Entry: Mon Jan 26, 2015, 1:43 PM
Skin by TMNT-Raph-fan

Because January will be coming and going soon enough (and my birthday also takes place this week as well), I have decided accept requests as birthday gifts for my friends' birthdays that take place in February. After being able to work on some birthday requests this month (which was kind of a slow start for me so far), I have decided to start accepting requests for next month about a week before the end of the current month so that I would have plenty of time to work on the pictures that I would be able to post on here in time for my friends' birthdays. In case anybody is wondering what I'm able to draw, I will also be reposting the same list of rules from my previous journal entry explaining which types of characters that I usually enjoy drawing most of the time, and which types of characters that I don't like to draw at all:

TYPES OF CHARACTERS THAT I CAN DRAW:
:bulletblue: Original Furry/Anthro Characters
:bulletred: Sonic Characters (Game-related and/or fan-based)
:bulletblue: TMNT Characters
:bulletred: Usagi Yojimbo Characters
:bulletblue: T.U.F.F. Puppy Characters
:bulletred: Disney Characters
:bulletblue: Warner Bros. Characters
:bulletred: Pokemon Characters
:bulletblue: Nintendo Characters
:bulletred: Capcom Characters

TYPES OF CHARACTERS THAT I CANNOT DRAW:
:bulletgreen: Original Human Characters
:bulletorange: Anime/Manga Characters
:bulletgreen: My Little Pony Characters
:bulletorange: Kid Vs. Kat Characters
:bulletgreen: Avatar Characters
:bulletoragne: Sonic Characters From The Archie Comics Series

-----

On an unfortunate note, however, I will probably be deleting one of my newer pictures that I've posted recently for a couple of reasons: It didn't seem to please everyone as I hoped, and the person that I drew the picture also became disappointed with how it turned out as well:

Whitnee's Tap-Dancing Duet by CaseyDecker

Personally, I think this picture I've done actually turned out very nice for a picture involving characters tap-dancing (especially because of it being my first attempt at drawing something like this), and I think it would be a real shame to just delete such a picture despite what the commissioner thought after seeing it. One reason that he didn't like it was because both girls were not wearing the right kind of pants with their outfits; He told me to draw them in short-legged jean pants (which is exactly what I was able to draw for the picture), but as it would turn out, he was actually talking about shorts. As a result, the commissioner and his friend who requested the picture did not like it at all, which now makes me feel less confident about doing more point commissions for everyone else, even if I was just doing my best to draw exactly what he told me... :(

Ten Favorite OCs - COMPLETED

Journal Entry: Wed Jan 21, 2015, 1:31 PM
Skin by TMNT-Raph-fan

Here is a little something that I took from my friend :iconwindycitypuma:, which I decided to do for the fun of it. For the first 10 people who comment on this journal entry, I will feature one of their characters I like the most and post a comment explaining my choice; I will go to your gallery and pick one character and one picture I like, so that way you won't need to tell me which character to feature on here. Even though the rules requires everyone who participates to do the same, I think that would actually be optional because of it being something done for fun, and the whole idea of it is to show off the artwork of everyone else. Thank you, and enjoy!

#1 - Lady Phobia by Casey Decker by Koleyl Lady Phobia - :iconkoleyl:

I wasn't exactly sure which of my friend's OCs that I liked most after not being able to check out his gallery that much, but I remembered that I once drew a picture of his female spider character, Lady Phobia, in my original cartoon style, who had kind of a unique character style to draw even though I've always been a fan of furry characters, and I wouldn't actually mind being able to draw more his characters in my original style style in the near future.

#2 - White Cat by CrazyFunPunk White Cat - :iconcrazyfunpunk:

Here is a unique character created by my younger brother, who was able to create a bunch of female villains and/or heroes with his current DA account that he's had for a while now. Of all the characters I loved most, I would have to pick this feline villain character because of how much she reminds me of Felicia from the "Darkstalkers" games, and I'm also a real sucker for girls in sexy white outfits that include boots, socks, etc. as well.

#3 - Fearless Leader: Cassidy by WindyCityPuma Cassidy - :iconwindycitypuma:

Even though I've just started checking out my friend's artwork not too long ago, it wasn't really hard for me to decide which of his original characters I liked most, especially after seeing her drawn in some pictures by my good friend :iconmintymousyxfce: and I find her to be really cute in her soccer uniform as well.

#4 - Collab: Marty and Minerva's Bondage Date by thieviusracoonus Marty Mongoose - :iconthieviusracoonus:

I think it's kind of obvious to say that Marty would have to be my favorite character created by this artist mainly because I was able to draw him in my original cartoon style not too long ago, and he's also meant to be a potential love interest of Minerva Mink from "Animaniacs" as well.

#5 - Re: RQ SuperMafia by SuperMafia Angel - :iconsupermafia:

Even though my friend doesn't seem to have many pictures of Angel in his gallery, I could not resist including her as my favorite original character that he created, especially after being able to draw her in my original cartoon style quite a few times in the past. One of the most unique things about this character would be the fact that she likes to stick her feet into something sticky, especially if she's doing it with some other characters who are eager enough to join her.

#6 - Magic of the water by LadyMelody1 Miva - :iconladymelody1:

Even though most of the artwork created by my new friend is related to "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" and "Usagi Yojimbo" (two franchises that I love so very much, I might add), I was able to find a couple of pictures involving some original characters that she created, and I decided to choose this character as my personal favorite.

#7 - Lovin' Down Under by TUFFAgentShepherd Niles Crocston - :icontuffagentshepherd:

When it comes to deciding which of my favorite Team Katswell characters that I like most (excluding Kitty and Dudley), I would have to say either Allison or Niles. For this journal meme, I have decided to go with Niles because I find him kinda interesting for a hero character created by my friend, and his character style also kind of reminds me of Leatherhead from the 1980s/1990s cartoon version of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" as well.

#8 - ED Nya~ by MizzGenK ED - :iconmizzgenk:

As you'd probably guess, ED (pronounced 'ED') has always been of the cutest characters created by my friend, and I could not resist featuring her on this list as well. I have draw this character at least a couple of times so far, and she turns out to be just as cute in my original cartoon style, especially when I'm able to draw her with my original characters including Whitnee and Goldie.

#9 - Be careful what you wish for. by Sillkung Sabina The Saluki - :iconsillkung:

As you may probably already know by now, Sabina is a gorgeous-looking character created by my best friend whom I love so very much, and I felt like I had to include her on the list for sure, especially because of how much I also enjoy drawing her in my original cartoon style. She's usually seen with her lover, a female wolf named Akai, and I also find both characters to be very cute for a lesbian couple as well.

#10 - Maya Under The Misletoe by AlexanderSie Maya Crème - :iconalexandersie:

It wasn't really hard for me to figure out which of my friend's characters I loved most, and it would be none other than Maya, who has always looked very nice and lovely in her maid outfit in many pictures that I've seen of her (especially with those long striped socks that she usually wears as part of her outfit). Even though I do like the other characters created by my friend, Maya will always be one of my personal favorites.

-----

BONUS - More Lillian Sketches by Creative-Dreamr Lillian Minkston - :iconcreative-dreamr:

Even though I was only able to feature ten artists in this journal meme I've done, I could not resist adding one more as a bonus, especially if it's one of my friend's whose artwork I'd like to share. As you can probably tell, my friend does a really good job drawing pictures involving the "T.U.F.F. Puppy" characters, and I decided to feature this lesser-known character that she created, whom I found to be quite lovely. Even though my friend hasn't actually drawn many pictures of Lillian, I still think she is one of my friend's most lovely characters, and I'd be more than willing to draw more pictures involving her characters as well.

Birthday Requests - January 2015

Journal Entry: Tue Dec 30, 2014, 2:08 PM
Skin by TMNT-Raph-fan

It's kind of hard to believe, but 2014 is almost coming to an end, and it won't be long until the New Year is ready to prepare us for 2015. After being able to complete my holiday-themed artwork that I was able post here on DeviantArt in time for Christmas this year, I am now able to focus on some other pictures that I plan on drawing whenever I have some creative ideas on my mind that I'd like to share with my friends, and I'm also open for point commissions and/or trades for anyone else who is interested. This year, I'm actually hoping to draw more pictures for my friends as well as participate in any collaborations, projects, etc. that I've always want to become a part of (especially after being left in the dark for much too long, and I also want to become more open while perfecting my cartoon skills as well). Speaking of which, that actually brings me to something that I'd like to announce before I forget... I have decided to draw birthday gift requests for all my friends here on DeviantArt whose birthdays are in January and every other month after that for this year; The reason I've decided to do something like this is so that I can keep myself busy with my cartoon drawings, and I would also be able to get a head start on any pictures that I'd like to draw in time for my friends' birthdays as well. I'm also willing to draw birthday requests for everyone else whose birthdays are in the following month, and in case anybody is curious to know what I'm able to draw, here is a couple of lists regarding the types of characters I can draw for each picture:

TYPES OF CHARACTERS THAT I CAN DRAW:
:bulletblue: Original Furry/Anthro Characters
:bulletred: Sonic Characters
:bulletblue: TMNT Characters
:bulletred: Usagi Yojimbo Characters
:bulletblue: T.U.F.F. Puppy Characters
:bulletred: Disney Characters
:bulletblue: Warner Bros. Characters
:bulletred: Pokémon Characters
:bulletblue: Nintendo Characters
:bulletred: Capcom Characters

TYPES OF CHARACTERS THAT I CANNOT DRAW:
:bulletgreen: Original Human Characters
:bulletorange: Anime/Manga Characters
:bulletgreen: My Little Pony Characters
:bulletorange: Kid Vs. Kat Characters
:bulletgreen: Avatar Characters
:bulletorange: Sonic Characters From The Archie Comics Series

And while I'm on the topic, I would also like to point out that next month happens to be my birthday (January 28th), and I'm hoping that many of my friends would be able to draw something as a gift for me just like they have in the past couple of years, which has always made me quite happy just knowing that I have so many supportive friends who actually enjoy checking out what I'm able to draw all the time, and I also become inspired to continue drawing cartoons like I usually do.

Mario Kart 7/8: Thoughts And Decision?

Journal Entry: Tue Dec 16, 2014, 1:09 PM
Skin by TMNT-Raph-fan

Because I'm now starting to feel much better about myself after dealing with my holiday depression not too long ago, I feel like wanting to talk about something that's been on my mind lately before I forget... As everyone may probably know after reading my journal entries, I was able to purchase myself a Nintendo WiiU a couple of months ago, which I was also able to get a couple of games for it: "DuckTales: Remastered" and "New Super Mario Bros. U / New Super Luigi U". After Christmas is over with for this year, I plan on saving up my money that I get each month to buy at least one new game to add to my WiiU collection (as long as it's a game within my monthly budget), and I might also purchase a new game for my 3DS collection as well. One of the titles that I was considering of getting for my Nintendo WiiU was "Mario Kart 8", which happens to be the newest game in the Mario Kart series, even though I actually did kind of miss out on getting "Mario Kart 7" for the Nintendo 3DS, mainly because I didn't have a 3DS at the time of its release, and I was able to buy a Nintendo 2DS after saying up my money and getting a copy of "Pokemon Y" on the month it came out. Now, I've heard about the kind of new features that are included in "Mario Kart 7" such as the option to customize your own vehicle as well as the abilities that allows vehicles to fly in the air and race underwater, but I've also heard a few negative things about the game that I've become aware of before I decide to buy it; For example, I've noticed that the selection of playable characters is actually kinda slim when compared to the character roster from "Mario Kart Wii" on the Nintendo Wii (especially since certain characters such as Diddy Kong and Walugi are not playable in the game at all), and I've even heard some people say that the game is also pretty hard when playing against the CPU, which makes unlocking things quite difficult for solo gamers such as myself. Because of "Mario Kart 8" being out for the Nintendo WiiU not too long ago, I was actually thinking of getting a copy of that game without having to play "Mario Kart 7" first, especially since I was able to complete "Mario Kart Wii" on my own (although I still need help unlocking Baby Luigi and Funky Kong as playable characters), and I was kind of hoping that Nintendo may have toned down the difficulty just a little for the newest game in their popular racing game series that I still enjoy playing to this day. But before I make such a decision to buy either game for myself, I'm going to need the opinions and advice of everyone else who is able to play one or both of the MK games that I haven't played yet so that I'll know which title is better, and I might even be able to play a few rounds with my friends online whenever I get some internet connection for my home. Anyway, which is the better title: "Mario Kart 7" on the Nintendo 3DS, or "Mario Kart 8" on the Nintendo WiiU?
