Gaming Confessions

Journal Entry: Tue Apr 25, 2017, 1:45 PM
Even though I have mentioned quite a few times that I've always been a fan of Nintendo games and consoles for as long as I could remember, I have kind of a confession that I feel like I should share before I forget... Despite all the new games that have been out since the last console generation, I haven't actually been able to catch up with playing most of the newer titles that Nintendo was able to release for quite some time now. Ever since I was able to get a Nintendo Wii U back in 2014, I have been trying to save up my money for any titles that I would definitely purchase for my game library. However, there are certain titles on the Wii U such as "Mario Kart 8", "Splatoon", and "The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild" that practically cost about $60 (including the digital versions that are available in the Nintendo eShop), which makes it rather difficult for someone like me on a fixed income to buy each game without having to buy other things within my monthly budget. As a result, I haven't been able to play any of these titles for myself yet, especially since the first couple of games I mentioned have actually been out for a long time now, and Nintendo has yet to drop the prices just like they did with some of their previously released titles such as "Super Mario 3D World", "Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze", and even "Yoshi's Wooly World" (all three games I was able to purchase, but haven't been able to try out despite being part of my library). To be perfectly honest, I'm not exactly sure if $60 would be worth the price for a certain game unless it's something that I know is actually fun to play such as "Super Smash Bros. 4" and/or "Super Mario Maker", both of which I decided to save up my money to buy individually whenever I got the chance. If you ask me, though, the most I would rather pay for a new game would have to be somewhere between $20 and $40, which I think is a much more suitable and fair price for a casual gamer such as myself, and that the $60 price tag for "Mario Kart 8" and "Splatoon" seems kinda ridiculous in my opinion.

Another thing that I'd also like to confess is that I'm starting to lose interest in playing RPGs whenever I feel like wanting to play something, and for kind of an understandable reason: RPGs always take way too long to complete, especially if you're in the mood for wanting to play something quick that would also have a lot of replay value (like, say, a platformer or beat-em-up game). In fact, I was able to pick up my copy of "Pokémon: Moon" that I was able to purchase on the day it came out after I was able to pre-order my copy of it at a local Game Stop, but I haven't been able to try out the game, though I did get a glimpse of what the game was like after downloading a free demo of it for my Nintendo 3DS, especially when I learned that I would be able to get bonus content added to my copy of the game once I complete it. Unfortunately, I've never been able to start playing the game yet because I never found the perfect time to do so because of me always working on my cartoon artwork while trying to keep up with any of the new games that are able to come out that I haven't been able to play yet, and the only game I ever have time to play on my Nintendo 3DS happens to be "Animal Crossing: New Leaf", which I try to play for no more than an hour each morning. Speaking of which, that's also kind of the reason why I haven't been able to play the Zelda games in a while, since many of the newer games in the series have lengthy stories and constant exploration cycles that make the games too long to play through, and I usually just want to get right to the puzzle-solving and enemy-fighting just like in the 2D-style Zelda games on the older consoles such as the NES and SNES that I still enjoy.

Despite me having trouble keeping up with the newer Nintendo games to come out, I've decided to go ahead and purchase a Nintendo Switch while shopping online, especially after learning that Nintendo had discontinued the Nintendo Wii U sometime ago, and the game that I decided to purchase to go with it is "Mario Kart 8 Deluxe", which is said to have all the DLC from the Wii U version, and I just wanted to make up for not being able to play any of the other games in the Mario Kart series since "Mario Kart Wii" on the Nintendo Wii, which was the last game in the series that I was able to play so far. After being able to check out some of the newer games that will be coming out on the Nintendo Switch, a couple of games that I've become interested in purchasing soon whenever I receive my console would include "Puyo Puyo + Tetris" and "Ultra Street Fighter II", but I'll definitely be able to purchase a copy of "Sonic Mania" as well as "Sonic Forces" whenever both games come out due to me still being a huge fan of the Blue Blur, especially with so much hope that fans such as myself have for the series despite any 'bad' games that may have tarnished its reputation (But, then again, "Super Mario Sunshine" alone had nearly ruined the Mario series for me because of how flawed that game was, and there are some people who hated "Super Mario Bros. 2" for one silly reason or another). Until then, I should just try to get around to catching up to any of the games I currently own that I haven't been able to play yet, and I just hope that I'll have the motivation to help me do so before my new console arrives.

Artwork Submission Issues

Journal Entry: Wed Apr 19, 2017, 3:48 PM
I'm just curious to ask such a question when I'm posting this journal entry, but has anyone been having trouble trying to upload new pictures on DeviantArt recently? The reason I ask this is because I can't seem to post any of my new pictures on here at all for some strange reason. As soon as I get done adding a title, description, tags, etc. for each picture that I attempt to post, nothing happens once I'm able to click on the 'Submit Now' tab, and it just gets stuck on the same page without any of my pictures being posted at all. I've tried logging on and off the site multiple times while also using a different web browser, but nothing else seems to happen when I re-submit my artwork, and I certainly hope that I'm not the only person experiencing such an issue. I have absolutely no idea why this is happening to me, and I just hope that whatever's causing it will be taken care of as soon as possible. :worry:

Ten Bunny Requests - CLOSED

Journal Entry: Mon Mar 27, 2017, 11:32 AM
Because of it being close to April, that also means that Easter will be coming up sometime next month as well. Even though it is not quite as popular as other holidays such as Halloween and/or Christmas, I have decided to do something special this year by working on a set of requests involving pictures that feature rabbit characters, whether they are original characters created by other people (fan characters included) or even characters who originated in existing forms of media such as TV shows, movies, video games, etc. And so, I will be accepting a total of ten requests for those who are able to post a comment explaining what they'd like me to draw for them, and I might actually be doing the "first come, first serve" rule depending on how many request ideas I may be able to receive. Please keep in mind that once I have chosen the ten requests that I've decided to work on, I will no longer be taking requests until further notice, but I'll still be able to do commissions (cash or points) for anyone who is interested afterwards. Thank you, and happy drawing!

RULES FOR REQUESTS:
1. Only one request per person, though multiple suggestions for ideas are allowed.
2. The maximum number of characters that I can feature in a single picture is three to five depending on the size of the drawing.
3. The request has to do with characters that happen to be rabbits.
4. No fetish-themed requests unless it's something appropriate for general audiences such as bondage, tickling, etc.
5. No requests involving human OCs.
6. No requests involving anime characters.
7. I can only draw fan art involving cartoons, video games, etc. that I'm quite familiar with and I also enjoy.
8. When asking me to draw an original character that I haven't drawn before, please be sure to provide a reference picture of the character(s) you'd like me to draw.
9. No asking me to draw a picture by simply posting a comment (such as "I'd like a request", "Can I ask for a request?", etc.) without telling me what it is you like me to draw, since I'd like to receive ideas as quickly as possible so that I can get to work on them whenever I can.
10. Do not be afraid to post your suggestions of what you'd like me to draw, and I will be able to respond to all comments on the day after.

REQUESTS TO DRAW:
#1 - :iconkbafourthtime: - Claire Lion and Clara Wolf as anthro bunnies
#2 - :iconjordintuff: - Bonnie Rabbitine and Hayai Bunny tied up, gagged, and blindfolded
#3 - :iconsaneman1: - Cream The Rabbit and Vanilla The Rabbit in pants, shirts, socks, and sandals with Easter candy
#4 - :icontheevstar: - Racer Rabbit holding a large Easter egg
#5 - :iconrdz2k7: - Trina Elirin and Sylvia Elirin

Five Featured Pictures - 1 SLOT LEFT

Journal Entry: Fri Feb 24, 2017, 11:46 AM
In case anybody is wondering why I haven't been posting any new pictures lately, I've decided to take a short break from working on any new pictures that I need to complete, and I was in the mood for doing another one of these journal memes after seeing it done by my good friend TUFFAgentShepherd:

All you have to do is feature the images of my five favorite pictures done by the first ten people that are able to post a comment on the journal, and those who are able to participate are more than welcome to do the same by posting a journal entry involving the five pictures of other artists (which is completely optional and mostly for fun). Thank you, and enjoy!

Birthday Wishes And Gifts

Journal Entry: Fri Feb 3, 2017, 4:13 PM
I know that I may have posted such a journal entry sooner right after my birthday (which happened to be last weekend in case anyone wasn't on DA until then), but I was dealing with some personal issues that were on my mind some time ago, which kind of distracted me from trying to focus on my cartoon artwork while also making me feel somewhat emotional. For some reason, I wasn't exactly feeling like my optimistic self when trying to celebrate my birthday for this year, even though I was able to receive quite a few nice gift pictures from my friends and everyone else who enjoys checking out my cartoon artwork that I'm able to post on a regular basis, and I've decided to share some of my favorite ones that I was able to receive not too long ago:

Once again, thank you so much to everyone who was nice enough to help wish me a Happy Birthday this year, which may not have turned out to be quite as perfect as last year, but I really appreciate all the friendship and support that has allowed me to continue drawing more cartoons no matter what. :happycry:

Art Share Meme - COMPLETED

Journal Entry: Tue Jan 31, 2017, 1:30 PM

I was able to do this journal meme after seeing my friends TUFFAgentShepherd and FoxsDumbSeriesMaker doing it recently:

1. For the first ten people who comment on this journal, I will feature their icon and three of my favorite drawings from their gallery. ('Cause why not?)
2. Basically if you comment, you also need to do this as well, featuring me as the first comment. (Although you don't have to for me; This is just for fun!)
3. This is not a journal to get free features, rather it's about sharing art for everyone to see. (Yeah!)
4. If you do not repost this journal and do it yourself, you will be taken off the list. (Scratch that, actually; I'll feature your art, either way.)

8 Facts About Shaun Inu - OC Meme

Journal Entry: Fri Jan 13, 2017, 1:00 PM

After being able to take a break from DeviantArt sometime ago, here is a journal meme that I was able to post after being tagged by my good friend TUFFAgentShepherd, which I never got around to posting until just recently:

1. Post these rules.
2. Post 8 facts about your character.
3. Tag 8 other characters.
4. Post their names along with their creators' avatars.

8 FACTS ABOUT SHAUN INU</u>

#1 - Shaun Inu is a member of Team Shinobi who happens to be the Japanese cousin of fellow T.U.F.F. agent and hero, Dudley Puppy.

#2 - Shaun's name is actually a creative take on the word "Shiba Inu", which happens to be the type of dog breed that he's supposed to be.

#3 - Whitnee Squirrel decided to make Shaun a member of Team Shinobi after becoming impressed with his staff-wielding skills, which he's able to use to fight criminals in Petropolis.

#4 - Unlike Dudley, Shaun tends to be much more relaxed and calm most of the time, but that doesn't necessarily means that he doesn't care for his cousin at all.

#5 - Shaun's main weakness happens to be attractive females such as Kitty Katswell and Lady Malmsteen, which causes him to fall madly in love at the sight of them easily, though he is able control himself just fine when working alongside his female teammates including Whitnee and Hayai.

#6 - Shaun's weapon of choice when becoming a member of Team Shinobi is a retractable metal bo staff created by Keswick in his laboratory, which allows Shaun to easily pull it out if his pocket while getting it ready for fighting bad guys.

#7 - If Shaun was a character to appear in the show "T.U.F.F. Puppy", he would most likely be voiced by Rob Paulsen, who also did the voice of Birdbrain on the show, and he's currently known for doing the voice of Donatello in the 2012 cartoon series version of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" as well.

#8 - Speaking of which, Donatello also happens to be one of the characters who loosely served as the inspiration behind Shaun Inu, since both characters are able to use the bo staff so skillfully when fighting their enemies.

CHARACTERS I CHOOSE TO TAG:

:iconauwawau: - Sabina The Saluki
:iconwatertank1995: - Lien Mei

:iconlouiseugeniojr: - Kathy The Cheetah

The Dawn Of 2017...

Journal Entry: Mon Jan 2, 2017, 12:00 PM
As everyone may already know by now, the year 2017 has officially begun since yesterday, and I feel like wanting to post a short journal entry as a way of letting everyone know how I've been feeling recently. First of all, I was able to spend New Year's Eve by hanging out at a bowling alley in my hometown, which I was able to walk all the way on foot from my home, and I decided to play a few games by myself before the countdown to midnight, and I even managed to walk home just fine without any problems. Then, after being able to post my new picture that I did as a way of celebrating New Year's Day recently, I asked my aunt to take me to the movie theater just outside of town, and we were able to see the movie "Sing"; I'll admit, it doesn't quite have the same charm as the Disney animated movie "Zootopia" (which happens to be the favorite animated movie of both me and my good friend shinragod), but it does have the kind of humor that you'd expect from the same people who worked on the "Despicable Me" movies as well as "The Secret Life Of Pets", and my aunt loved it for sure.

Despite being able to do a couple of fun things as a way of kicking off the new year, I have also decided to take a short break from posting some new pictures here on DeviantArt for about a week so that I can get to work on any pictures that I need to get done after focusing on just the two pictures that I had recently posted. However, I will be able to check my messages regularly so they don't pile up during my break, and I should be able to feel inspired to draw once again. Until then, here's hoping the rest of 2017 will turn out to be quite perfect for me.

How My Holiday Season Went

Journal Entry: Wed Dec 28, 2016, 1:40 PM

Now that Christmas has officially come and gone for this year, I feel like wanting to post a journal entry explaining how my Christmas had turned out for me not too long ago... Unlike last year, in which I was in kind of an unhappy mood for some reason, I was feeling much more positive when spending the holidays with my family this year, especially when I was able to get plenty of good presents, which include: a copy of "Ghostbusters 1 & 2" on Blu-ray, the "Toy Story" trilogy on Blu-ray, a copy of "Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze" on the Nintendo Wii U, some cool Pokémon-related stuff that I like to collect, and a couple of gift cards for places such as Game Stop and Wal-Mart. Of course, I was able to save up some of my money to buy some really good presents for everyone else in my family, which they definitely loved after opening, and that usually makes me feel quite happy for sure.

However, when my mother was able to open up one of her presents that my sister had given to her, she was able to find a note in the present that was cleverly-folded as a way of surprising her with an important announcement: My sister and her boyfriend (or husband, since they actually got married a few months ago and decided to keep it a secret) will be having their wedding sometime in late-August of next year, and they're even able to rent a condo near the Gulf Coast in Alabama for us to stay at for a whole week when it happens. After hearing about this, my mother practically burst into tears, especially after my sister had announced that my brother has been chosen to be the best man, and his girlfriend was also chosen to be the maid of honor for the wedding. Now, I suppose this is quite a happy occassion for everyone in my family, but I'm also rather confused at the same time, since I seem to be the only one left out of getting an important role in my sister's wedding, though my sister was thinking of making me usher for the wedding, but I have absolutely no idea what an usher does, and I'm hoping it doesn't involve interacting with people that I may not know (especially since I happen to be extremely shy in person unless I'm having fun in some way). To be honest, I've actually been getting kinda bored with weddings after going to quite a few of my cousins' weddings since the past year, especially since I happen to be the only person in my family who doesn't have a spouse or even a girlfriend, and the weddings that have been going on are practically a reminder that I'll probably never be able to find a girl for myself unless they were able to find me (and I'm not even going to try to do something stupid like Chris Chan has done in some of his documentaries that I watched about him, so please don't ask).

Despite the confusing feelings that I've been dealing with after the announcement of my sister's wedding, it wasn't actually enough to make me feel unhappy, especially because I'm also quite proud of my sister for being able to marry someone who's always been really nice towards me while also having so much in common such as our passion for movies and video games. Speaking of which, I'd also like to point out that my birthday happens to be next month on January 28, and I'm also hoping that many of my friends will be able to draw some nice-looking pictures as birthday gifts for me, which I'd really appreciate as always. Until then, I was actually able to have such a good Christmas this year, and here's hoping that next year will turn out to be just as good as well.

Sonic Fandom Doubts

Journal Entry: Wed Dec 21, 2016, 6:34 PM
Even though Christmas happens to be only a few days away, I feel like wanting to ask about something that's been on my mind recently... Why do a lot of people tend to criticize the Sonic fandom whenever it is brought up in a discussion? I mean, I'm actually more of a casual fan of the Sonic franchise despite how much of a fan I've become of the Blue Blur over the years, but after all the hatred and criticism about all the new Sonic games that have been released
during the last ten years (despite the fact that most of them actually turned out great such as "Sonic Unleashed", "Sonic Colors", and "Sonic Generations"), I just haven't been feeling comfortable about wanting a gamer anymore, especially since the only types of games that everyone seems to care about nowadays are first-person shooter series such as "Call Of Duty" and "Overwatch" (both of which I find rather unappealing to me, so no offense to those who enjoy them). If I can't be allowed to like the Sonic franchise anymore, then that obviously means I can't be allowed to like the Super Mario franchise or even the Mega Man franchise because they're all platforming game series, and nobody seems to like that genre anymore, especially if the PS4 and Xbox One doesn't have any particular titles suitable for a casual gamer such as myself (aside from the fact that "Sonic Mania" will be coming out on both consoles, but not for any of the Nintendo consoles). Speaking of which, I actually refuse to be a fan of game series such as "Final Fantasy", "Gears Of War", "Fallout", "Tomb Raider", or "Uncharted" because they happen to be a few of my least favorite game series that most people seem to like. Other than that, I just feel kinda lost about not being allowed to enjoy certain game series that have always been appealing to me if everyone's going to criticize any new titles that may be released for them, and I might as well give up gaming entirely if that's the case.

Super Mario Bros. 2 VS. Doki Doki Panic!

Journal Entry: Fri Dec 16, 2016, 1:00 PM

Just recently, I was in the mood for playing the NES classic "Super Mario Bros. 2", which I have mentioned quite a few times in the past that it happens to be my most favorite game in the SMB Trilogy for the NES, and I feel like wanting to talk about differences between the game and its Japanese counterpart known as "Doki Doki Panic!" (translated in English, the game is actually called "Dream Factory Family: Heart-Pounding Panic!"). Now, while I may go on explaining the differences between both versions of "Super Mario Bros. 2" released in Japan and North America (especially with the former being renamed "Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels" when released in the US), I've decided to discuss why the US version of "Super Mario Bros. 2" is actually a bit better to play than "Doki Doki Panic!", especially after hearing some heated arguments about SMB2 not being liked just because it was a re-skin of an existing game originally released in Japan, but I am here to point out the reasons why the version we got in the US is actually superior to the Japanese games, and here is a list of reasons I'm able to post involving the main differences between both games, though a spoiler warning should be in effect for those who have yet to play and/or complete either game for themselves:

#1 - Character Selection - I'm sure just about everybody knows who the characters are in both versions of the game and which characters from the Japanese version are switched with the Mario Characters, but just in case there's anyone who doesn't know about the characters, they are (US version = Japanese version):

Mario = Imajin
Luigi = Mama
Toad = Papa
Peach = Leena

While the characters do happen to have the same abilities as each others' counterparts, the main difference I feel like pointing out is being able to play through the levels as each character. In the US version of the game, players are able to choose which character to play as for each level until you beat it, and you can choose to play as a different character for the next level. In the Japanese version of the game, however, once you choose the character to play as, you keep playing as that character until you complete the World, which consists of three levels each (with the exception of World 7, which has only two levels).

#2 - Graphical Differences - This one is kind of an understandable difference between both games, but US version of the game has improved visuals that actually look a bit better than the Japanese version of the game, which include the grass containing items and power-ups being a different color with a unique animation and the cherry power-ups to collect being animated in the US version as well. But the most notable different would be waterfalls found in various levels, which move so quickly in the Japanese version that it's enough to cause a seizure (especially when playing through World 3-1 and/or World 5-1); In the US version, however, the waterfall animations have been slowed down gradually, which makes it a lot easier on the eyes of the players.

#3 - Gameplay Mechanics - In order for the Japanese version game to be made into a proper Mario sequel, there were a couple of slight gameplay changes that were done in the US version of the game to make it even more enjoyable. In the Japanese version of the game, the characters are able to run at one speed while moving; In the US version of the game, the characters are able to run faster by holding down the 'B' Button just like in SMB. In the Japanese version of the game, the characters simply lost a life after getting hurt with one heart left; In the US version of the game, the characters would shrink down to size if they have one heart left, indicating that one more hit would kill them...just like in SMB.

#4 - World 5 Boss Battles - Anyone who's been able to play through either version of the game would probably know who the boss character at the end of World 5 is, but it's actually quite different in both versions of the games depending on which version you grew up playing. In the Japanese version of the game, the boss of World 5 is a white version of Mouser, and the fight is quite similar to the one in World 3 except for the spikes on the floor, which also makes the battle quite challenging. In the US version of the game, however, the boss at the end of World 5 happens to be a large crab named Clawgrip, who attacks Mario and friends by hurling rocks at them. Needless to say, Clawgrip was a newer character that was created exclusively to the US version, which made the game feel a bit more new and original at the time.

#5 - Game Completion & Ending - I'm sure there are some people who are able to discuss such a topic about which game has the better ending, but they're quite similar in terms of presentation, and I also want to talk about the gameplay differences when getting to the endings for both versions of the game. The Japanese version of the game requires the player to play through all the levels in game as all four the playable characters (Imajin, Leena, Mama, and Papa) in order to see the ending, which is actually possible thanks to a game save feature on Famicom Disk System. In the US version of the game, however, there is no save feature that would allow players to save at any time, but the game does require you to beat the levels only once per game, which adds some variety when choosing to play as a different character if you'd like.

As for the endings of both games, the Japanese version has the four main characters returning to their home by coming out of the magical storybook after defeating Wart, and the US version has a surprise twist at the end that reveals the adventure turning out to be a dream after Mario and his friends are able to defeat Wart. If I had to choose which of those two endings I like most, it would definitely have to be the US version because of it actually being something quite original without having to rely on the same old mechanic for other Mario games in the future, and it's also a unique way to express why the game was meant to be kind of different from its predecessor. However, I'm sure some people would disagree with me by saying the Japanese version is superior because it came out first and that the ending for the US version was kind of a disappointment just because the story turned out be a dream by the main hero; On the other hand, I would have to disagree about such a reason to not like the game, especially because the music heard throughout both parts of the ending are wonderfully composed by the one and only Koji Kondo (who happens to be the same guy who composed much of the music heard in Nintendo's popular game titles), and the whole 'adventure turning out to be a dream' concept would also be used in other games that turned out to be fun to play such as "The Magical Quest: Starring Mickey Mouse" on the SNES and "The Legend Of Zelda: Link's Awakening" on the Game Boy.

If you're curious to learn more about the history of "Super Mario Bros. 2" and how it came to be one of the most unique games in the Mario series, I'm able to share a YouTube video of an episode of "The Gaming Historian" explaining the whole history behind the game, which I also found to be quite interesting after checking it out. Thank you, and enjoy!

Twelve Requests Of Christmas 2016 - CLOSED

Journal Entry: Mon Nov 28, 2016, 12:39 PM

Because of the holiday season now happening after another Thanksgiving has come to an end for this year, I have decided to go ahead and start accepting ideas for requests that I will be doing as part of my annual "Twelve Requests Of Christmas" project, which I've been able to do every year for the holidays. Just like in my last request project that I was able to do for Halloween this year, I will mostly be able to pick twelve of the request ideas for anyone who is able to comment my journal that I would be most comfortable to draw at my own pace, though I might just be able to do the "first come, first serve" rule depending on what happens, and I'll be able to fill up slots on my journal entry of those who will be getting a picture drawn by me, which I'll also have posted on here all month long as well; Once I have chosen the twelve requests to work on, I will no longer be taking requests until further notice. In the meantime, however, I made sure to save a spot for my good friend teamlpsandacnl after he was nice enough to ask me before actually starting the project. Holiday Depression Feelings

Journal Entry: Fri Nov 25, 2016, 12:00 PM

As everyone may already know, the holiday season has just begun now that Thanksgiving is able to come and go for this year, and I've decided to use a new journal skin to change the theme for my journal entries that I'll be posting for the holiday season. I'm sure that everyone is able to have themselves a nice and peaceful Thanksgiving weekend so far, and I'll admit that I also had a nice time with my family like I do every year. However, I've been feeling rather gloomy after coming back from my aunt's house last night because I was able to hear my family (from my dad's side) discuss about what we'll be doing for Christmas this year... Every year on the weekend before Christmas, my dad's family is usually have to have a gift exchange where everyone attending would be able to purchase a gift at a fixed price, which we've been doing for as long as I can remember, and I heard my family say that this could be the last time we do something like this for Christmas every year because of my cousins having families of their own, and they're unable to come over and stay like they always do; Just knowing this has made be feel quite unhappy recently because I'm pretty much the only person in my family who isn't married or doesn't have a girlfriend, and I'm just really, really worried about not being able to spend time with my family anymore, especially since I can only go from place to place if someone I know is nice enough to give me a ride all the time. If anyone else has been able to deal with a similar situation that has made them feel emotional the same way as me, then please feel free to share your thoughts with me, and I certainly hope that I will be able to feel much better by the end of the month.

Speaking of which, I should also take the opportunity to let everyone know that I still plan on doing my annual "Twelve Requests Of Christmas" project like I do every year, which I'll be posting a journal entry sometime soon letting everyone know when I'll be accepting Christmas-themed requests while posting the rules, and I've also decided to save a spot for my friend :iconteamlpsandacnl: as a way of making up to him after leaving him out from my "Thirteen Requests Of Halloween" project sometime ago. In case anyone's wondering, though, I will not be accepting the ideas for requests until after I post my next journal, so please hold your ideas about what you'd like me to draw until then.

In case anyone is new to how it works, I will select a certain number of people to draw requests for them (or in this case, 'first come, first serve'), in which I'll be filling up slots on my journal page of those who will be getting a picture drawn by me, and I'll have the pictures posted on here all this month; Once I have chosen the thirteen requests to work on, I will no longer be taking requests until further notice, though I can still do commissions and/or art trades for anyone else who is interested. Halloween Pic Ideas

Tue Sep 27, 2016, 12:35 PM

As you can probably tell just by looking, I was able to download a Halloween-themed journal skin that I would be using for any journal entries that I may be posting on October, and I'd also like to announce that I'll be working on as many Halloween-themed pictures that I plan post all month long because of it being one of my most favorite holidays of the year. I'll mainly be drawing pictures involving either my original characters or characters from my favorite cartoons, video games, etc. that I like to draw being able to celebrate Halloween in some clever way, though I might need a bit of help coming up with some ideas of what to draw if I can't think of anything else on my own, so I will be more than welcome to accept ideas for Halloween-themed pictures that my friends would like me to draw. Speaking of which, I'm also thinking of wanting to do something I'd like to call "Thirteen Requests Of Halloween", which is a kind of project that involves drawing requests for thirteen people kinda like what I'm usually able to do for Christmas like I do every year, except it involves me being able to draw Halloween-themed pictures as a nice change of pace. In the meantime, I'll be posting a journal explaining the details whenever I get the chance to begin my project. Thank you, and Happy Haunting! :pumpkin:

Recent Picture Removal

Journal Entry: Mon Aug 1, 2016, 8:42 AM
After being able to log back onto DeviantArt just recently, you'll probably notice that I had just deleted an older picture done by one of my good friends whom I've known for a long time, which I was able to re-post on here for everyone else to check out before he deactivated his original account. As it would turn out, my friend was able to send me a couple of notes requesting that I take the picture down because he didn't want everyone else to think that he still does foot fetish pictures, which is why he decided to close down his original account not too long ago. And so, I was able to do what he said, and I now feel kinda guilty for what I did, especially because I wasn't even trying to upset him in any possible way, and I just wanted to show off some of the pictures that he did featuring my characters just like some of my other friends who were able to do the same thing before he was able to deactivate his account. If he's able to read this journal entry, I just want to let him know that I'm sorry if I did was a mistake, and I can only hope that he forgives me as long as he's so understanding and kind. :worry:
