Have you ever had one of those moments where you hear a catchy tune and end up having it stuck in your head for a while? Well, that's actually what happened to me not too long ago, and I think I should tell everyone about it. Just last Saturday, I received a copy of the video game "Darkwing Duck" for the NES that I had recently ordered in the mail, which I started to play for a while now, and I think I'll give a review for it in another time. Anyway, I was able to play through the stage where you fought one of Darkwing's arch-enemies, Bushroot, and I ended up getting the level theme stuck in my head after hearing it for the first time. Even though all the other level themes in the game are really nice and catchy, I found this particular one to be quite rhythmic with a sense of adventure and action to it. I can't seem to stop hearing it, and I sometimes find myself playing the game just to hear it again. I'm pretty sure this phase I'm starting to go through is only temporary, but I'm also curious to know if any of my friends have also had anything like this happen to them before.

Because I haven't been able to check my messages yesterday after participating in an internet blackout with some of my friends on here, I am posting this journal entry about some of the pictures I am currently working on. Not too long ago, I've been in the mood for drawing sexy anthro versions of Pokemon characters after checking out all kinds of artwork involving them. And so, I was able to go ahead and create my own anthro Pokemon characters that everyone is sure to love. For my very first set of pictures that I've started drawing recently, I have decided to start off with the cute electric rodent Pokemon that practically everyone knows and loves, which include:

Raichu
Pichu
Plusle
Minun
Pachirisu
Emolga

I'm able to draw the characters in my original cartoon style while having them wear outfits that would look nice on them and giving them proper hairstyles. As for the names of the anthro Pokemon characters, I haven't decided which names would suit each character, but I'm thinking of wanting to use names that match the first letter of each Pokemon name (like 'Patricia' for Pachirisu and 'Emily' for Emolga). If anyone else could help me think up some names that would suit my characters, I would really appreciate it as well. After I get done with this first set of pictures involving these anthro Pokemon characters completed, I just might be willing to create more anthro versions of Pokemon characters in the near future.

After watching some videos on YouTube recently, I feel like talking about a series of game review videos that tend to irk me a little (and I think a bunch of other gamers who read this journal entry will probably agree with me as well). I'm talking about "The Irate Gamer", which is a game review video series that's almost similar to the ever-popular "Angry Video Game Nerd" series, which I actually love to watch dozens of times on YouTube. Unlike the Angry Video Game Nerd, however, The Irate Gamer isn't entirely truthful whenever he reviews certain games, even though he tries to make each episode humorous. Even though some of the games featured in each episode were also reviewed by the Angry Video Game Nerd (such as the NES version of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", "Ghosts N' Goblins", and "Jaws"), there were also some episodes for games that are actually much better to play than how they were reviewed, including "The Goonies II" on the NES and "Disney's Aladdin" on the SNES. Not all of these videos are bad, though, but the episode that really disappointed me the most would be The Irate Gamer's review of one of my favorite Mario games of all time: "Super Mario Bros. 2". I understand that some people didn't like this game because it was slightly different from the other Mario games in terms of gameplay, but I really enjoyed this game ever since I was a kid, and I have plenty of reasons to like it as well. In the video review for this game, The Irate Gamer claimed that Toad was the only playable character that did not have any special skills and abilities, but of course, that is absolutely wrong; Everyone who's played this game actually knows that Toad is the character who can move very fast on foot and he can also pick up items and enemies a lot quicker than the others. He obviously didn't play the game enough to actually enjoy it, and that's kind of a shame because I think it's an underrated classic worth owning on the NES. Despite what I think of The Irate Gamer, this is basically my opinion of something on my mind, and I feel like wanting to share with anyone else who is interested.

I just want to say that I am very sorry for the way I overreacted in my journal entry that I posted on here yesterday. I feel really bad if I upset anyone with whatever has been troubling me, and I hope that it doesn't happen again too often. I don't know why I've been feeling so emotional lately, but I've been trying very hard not to let it get to me in any way. I guess I've been feeling this way because I'm starting to feel kinda lonely nowadays, since I have nobody (other than my own family) to talk to whenever I have something on my mind. I figured that receiving a certain number of comments from my friends about my artwork would help me get through, since it makes me feel a little more appreciated than I already am. But after getting some responses from my friends regarding my previous journal entry, I've come to realize that the way I've been acting was completely immature as well as unnecessary, and I am really sorry for any trouble that I may have caused. Please keep in mind that I'm not trying to sound controlling and/or demanding in any way; It's just that I really like to keep in touch with my friends as much as possible, and I guess you can say that I'm actually worried about my friends not being by my side when I really need them. If I'm going to start feeling better from now on, I should at least try to remember that it doesn't matter how many comments I receive for my artwork, and what really matters most is just knowing that I have friends who are always supportive of me for being myself, and that they'll continue to like me as long as I'm able to show my appreciation.

I am posting this journal entry to let everyone know about the newer kinds of artwork that I am currently working on. First of all, I would just like to thank everyone on here for being able to check out the pictures of my new Sonic fan character, Abby The Squirrel, since she happens to be one of my first attempts at creating a fan character of my own after giving them a chance for quite a while now. Because everyone seems to like her plenty, I am actually planning on drawing more pictures involving her whenever I can. The pictures I am currently working on are mainly point commissions and/or trades that I'm trying to get done as soon as possible, but I also have a few original ideas that I want to draw while they're still fresh on my mind, including a few pictures of Whitnee Squirrel getting her feet tickled in a few creative ways as well as some pictures of my good friend MajikkuMausuII's original characters, Amanda and Rachel, that I've decided to work on after drawing them in my original cartoon style for the first time. I guess you can say that I've actually been in the mood for drawing some of my friends' original characters so I can show my deep appreciation for them, and that they'll continue to support me as my friends till the end of time. I'm also in the mood for doing a set of pictures involving Tomoe Ame from "Usagi Yojimbo", since she is one of the characters in the comics that I tend to admire a lot (especially when she's with Usagi, and I think they would make a great couple as well). One more thing, I'm thinking of drawing some more comic strips like I did about a year ago; In fact, one of the commissions/trades I need to work on is a comic strip, but I don't think it would hurt to do another set of "Whitnee The Maid" comics once I get around to thinking of gags for each strip. Despite how much work it would take to get everything done, I find it to be a good way to keep myself busy one way or another, and I should also be glad to admit that I have many friends who are always willing to support me no matter what.

After watching the movie "Wreck-It Ralph" on Blu-ray not too long ago, I was able to think of the dream I had a while back that involved my original characters, Whitnee Squirrel and Jade Squirrel, being the stars of a fictional 1980s-style arcade video game called "Squirrel Sisters", and I began to figure out which actresses would be perfect to do the voices of both characters. I was thinking that Whitnee and Jade could be played by a popular female duo that everyone would recognize, but I don't exactly know that many female duos in TV shows, movies, etc. like I do male comedy duos. After giving some thought not too long ago, I have decided which two actresses I would chose to play the roles of my squirrel characters - Whitnee Squirrel would be played by Rachael MacFarlane (who was known for playing Hayley Smith from "American Dad" as well as Eris from "The Grim Adventures Of Billy & Mandy"); Jade Squirrel would be played by Mila Kunis (who was known for playing Meg Griffin from "Family Guy" as well as Jackie Burkhart from "That 70s Show"). These two actresses were basically the first couple of choices that were on my mind, but if there's any other actresses who might be suitable to do the voices of either character, I am really curious to hear any suggestions from everyone else.

I am posting this journal entry to let all my friends and watchers know how I've been doing lately. In case anybody is wondering, I am actually starting to feel a little better after going through a couple of depressive states not too long ago. I guess the reason I've been so unhappy lately was because I was kinda worried that all my friends who check out my new artwork on a regular basis were no longer interested, even though I was able to do the same by checking out their own artwork that they post on here as well. I am starting to get over such a foolish idea by adding my artwork to many different groups so that other people may be able to notice. If anybody knows any other groups that would be suitable for submitting my artwork in, I would gladly appreciate it.

Second of all, I was able to create a Sonic fan character of my own not too long ago; The new character that I've created happens to be a female squirrel that I named Abby, and I plan on posting my few pictures that I did of her as well as a picture that I did as a contest entry for my friend DarkSonic250. Even though I used to not care for fan characters ever since I began doing artwork on here, I decided to give them a chance by creating my own after checking out all kinds of sweet-looking artwork by other artists who became my friends. One of the first fan characters I've created would be a "T.U.F.F. Puppy" version of Whitnee Squirrel, which is actually slightly different from my own original character.

As for newer artwork, I have decided to work on a set of pictures involving Betty Bat, who is a teenage bat girl that dreams of becoming a rock star with her friends. I was able to think of two characters who happen to be Betty's friends, and their names are Roxanne Raccoon and Scarlett Skunk. All three girls would be part of a rock band that I've decided to name "Creatures Of The Night" (since they are anthro versions of nocturnal animals), and they also like to wear socks and sandals with their outfits.

And lastly, another reason that I've been feeling so good lately would have to be that I was able to buy a copy of the movie "Wreck-It Ralph" on Blu-Ray when it came out on March 5. I went out with my dad and stepmother to Wal-Mart to buy my copy of it, and we were able to eat out at a Chinese buffet restaurant while doing so. As you would probably guess, I decided to watch the movie right after coming back to my home, and I was able to watch it in peace because of my mother having to go out to work that night and I had the house all to myself. I was able to see the movie when it was in theaters, and I still think it is one of the greatest animated movies I've ever seen, especially if it involves video games that everyone knows and loves.

I am posting this quick journal entry because I have a question that I'm kinda anxious to ask anyone on here... Should I give up on drawing pictures of male characters unless they're paired up with a female character? The reason I'm asking this is because I was able to post some new pictures involving male characters, and they didn't seem to get noticed as much as I had hoped. A couple of the pictures I've done were mainly point commissions for other artists, but I'm also referring to the picture I did of Mickey Mouse and Oswald The Lucky Rabbit. It didn't exactly get as much recognition as I hoped, especially because I thought everyone knew who both of these characters were. It seems that everyone on here tends to notice artwork that involves female characters all the time, especially the ones who are drawn very nicely and look very gorgeous. Please keep I am not trying to be against anyone for any reason whatsoever, but I actually feel that I just want to be noticed for my unique cartoon style and not just what I'm asked to draw for anybody curious enough to ask. If you completely understand how I feel about something like this, then please feel free to share your thoughts.

Even though I've managed to get internet connection working at my home again recently, I've actually been feeling a little unhappy and confused lately. I don't know why I haven't been feeling like my optimistic self these past few weeks, but I think I should let everyone know what's troubling me... As everyone may have noticed, I was able to keep myself busy by working on many of the point commissions and/or art trades that everyone has been asking me to draw for them. I still have plenty of other pictures that I'll be posting on here shortly after I'm done checking my messages from the time I was absent. However, I've noticed that some of the newer commissions/trades that I'm about to work on lately have made me feeling kinda uneasy for some reason; I guess maybe it's because I feel like I should get to work on some newer pictures of other things like some new ideas for "Usagi Yojimbo" fan art, since it's kinda been on my mind recently and I feel like wanting to draw some pictures involving Tomoe Ame and/or Miyamoto Usagi. Another picture that I want to work on is part of a story that me and my friend are working together on, and I don't want to forget it. Despite how many pictures I've done ever since I started doing commissions, I haven't been feeling quite the same as I've always been. Another thing that's really been bothering me is the thought of everyone not being able to notice my newer artwork like they used to. I feel like I'm being left out, especially when some of my friends are able to do gift art for several other artists and forgetting about me (Well, not really, but that's kinda how I've been feeling lately). I actually put so much work on each of my pictures that draw with pencil and ink on paper before scanning them onto my computer and coloring them in with a picture-editing program like Paint Shop Pro X. Please keep in mind that I'm not trying to sound jealous of anyone else whose artwork tends to get noticed a lot on here, but I think maybe I deserve a little more recognition, especially after all the trouble I've been going through since last September. I really am a creative person who's always willing to create newer cartoon artwork for everyone nice enough to ask, but I usually tend to cooperate a little better as long as I know that I am being loved by everyone else who appreciate me just the way I am.

And lastly, another thing that has been on my mind lately is kind of a personal problem... I've been having a bit of trouble saving up my money so I can get a laptop computer for myself. I still don't have a job after being let go from my last one a few years ago, and I've never been able to get a new job, especially since I am incredibly shy in person and I have such a difficult time asking for a job. Once I get my laptop computer, I was also planning on saving up my money so I can meet one of my friends in person and hang out together someday. It may sound like a nice plan, but I'm really worried about what would happen if I wasn't able to do either of these tasks.

There seems to be so much doubt and confusion that's been on my mind recently, and I just wish there was some way to handle it... If anybody has any suggestions of how I can deal with this sort of thing, I would really appreciate any suggestions that are honest and helpful. Thank you.

I am posting this journal entry to let everyone know that I am still alive after not being online for the last few days. The reason I haven't been on lately is because there was a serious problem with the browsing device that allowed me and my family to access the internet at home. It started late Friday night when the internet device just sort of stopped working all of a sudden; the darn thing wouldn't connect to the internet, and for some strange reason, it was unable to turn off (unless the battery was taken out). This situation kind of upset me all weekend, especially because I was not expecting this sort of thing to happen at all. And so, we had to wait until Monday to take the device back to the store and have them take a look at it. A replacement had been ordered (at little to no cost, I might add), and it was set up momentarily. Because I knew that I would have several messages piling up while I was gone, I probably should take some time off to check most of them before I decide to post my newer artwork on here. This has been yet another hectic situation for me, and I can't believe something like this had happened.

I am posting this journal entry to let everyone know that I am starting to feel really good right now, and that my depression is gone as well. I've actually been feeling better since yesterday, and I would like to thank everyone who was so nice and supportive of me after explaining what happened in my previous journal entry (which I deleted not too long ago). I was filled with doubt and misery for a little while recently, but I'm just glad that I was able to get through it one way or another. I should be lucky to have so many great friends on here who are always there for me whenever I'm feeling low, and I think it's such a great feeling to know that as well. As you probably already know, Valentine's Day is also coming up, and I'll be able to post a couple of pictures that I was able to work on for this year. I certainly hope that it will be a nice day for me, and I'll be able to receive as much love from everyone I know (including my best friend, whom I love so very much).

I have some bad news for today... I don't feel like wanting to post a new picture today because I am unable to respond to all of my messages. I was able to check some of the messages before going out to dinner with my father last night, but as I was busy responding to the messages like I usually do each day I'm online, I was unable to continue because I kept on receiving the dreaded 'System Thinks Comment Is Spam' message that keeps on popping up whenever I do so. Usually this is because of all the nice-looking pictures that all my friends post on here that I cannot resist posting a comment for. I know that I could just add the pictures to my favorites folder, but I also want to let my friends know that I was able to check out their latest artwork, since I am not someone who is lazy. This is, without a doubt, a very disappointing moment for me because I wasn't expecting this sort of thing to happen to me once again. I really wish this feature wasn't used for the site anymore, especially because it's very unnecessary to those who check their messages on a daily basis. Hopefully, there won't be too many pictures uploaded for the day (especially the ones from the groups that I'm a member of), and I can continue responding to my messages as soon as possible.

Today is my birthday, and I feel like wanting to talk about something that was on my mind not too long ago... Just last week when I was asleep in my bed, I actually had a dream that was completely based off of the Disney animated movie "Wreck-It Ralph". In this dream I had, it was about my squirrel characters, Whitnee and Jade, being the stars of a fictional 1980's-era arcade game called "Squirrel Sisters", and it would be an action platformer that would be kinda like a Capcom arcade game called "Sonson". This game would take place in a Japanese setting, in which Whitnee and Jade would rescue a young prince from an army of evil dog demons; the power-ups that Whitnee and Jade collected in the game would turn them into a ninja (which increased their attack power until they were hit by an enemy) or a geisha in a kitsune mask (which granted them temporary invincibility and a powerful attack that wiped out every enemy on screen). Anyway, the dream I had mainly focused on Whitnee's sister, Jade, who is tired of being treated like a sidekick all the time, especially when the people who play their game usually end up playing as Whitnee only. As you would probably guess, there was even a part where she was at a meeting with a bunch of other video game characters who were sidekicks, which included (but not limited to):

1. Luigi from the Mario games
2. Miles "Tails" Prower from the Sonic games
3. Diddy Kong from the Donkey Kong games
4. Navi from the Zelda games
5. Gooey from the Kirby games
6. Slippy from the Star Fox games

Just like in the movie that my dream was based upon, Jade would sneak into a modern day first-person shooter in hopes of becoming a recognizable video game hero. In my version of the game that I dreamed of, it would be a game entitled "War Wolves", and the characters in the game happen to be anthropomorphic wolves that work together to eliminate a race of evil insects that are a lot more dangerous than the dog demons in Jade's game world. Afterwards, Jade would then end up in a colorful kart-racing game, which in my dream would be set in a world consisting of toys and children's playthings. While there, Jade is able to meet a young toy cat, who is ridiculed by the other toy animals because of him having colorful patches all over his body, and he would occasionally 'glitch out' like Vanellope in the movie. There was also a seemingly-friendly ruler in the toy world who turns out to be the main villain, and Jade would be able to stop him with help from Whitnee. If you were able to see the movie "Wreck-It Ralph", I'm pretty sure you'll know what my dream was pretty much like, and I am definitely going to get it on Blu-ray as soon as it comes out.

I am posting this journal to let everyone know what I've been up to in the past week, since I was able to keep myself busy one way or another. First of all, you may have noticed that I've been posting my newer artwork on here a little less often, mainly because I'm actually trying to spend as much time working on all the point commissions and/or art trades for anyone who is interested. So far, I have been able to complete many of the pictures that were requested by everyone asking me to draw something for them, and I'm hoping to draw even more pictures for anyone in the near future (especially if I'm having a bit of trouble figuring out what to draw on my own).

Secondly, I was able to create a couple of new characters in a few pictures I've been working on not too long ago. The newer characters I've created happen to be a male human whose girlfriend is an anthropomorphic cat, and it's my first attempt at creating a human-anthro couple. I am aware that I might get criticized by everyone who dislikes human characters dating anthro animal characters (including furry ones), but I actually find human-anthro couples to be somewhat interesting for my own reasons, and I find it to be okay for human characters to be with those kind of characters if they're human-like in so many ways. Despite what some people might think otherwise, I'm sure that everyone else will love my new characters no matter what.

I would also like to remind everyone that my birthday is next week on January 28, and I hope that some of my friends will be able to draw a picture or two as a gift for me. And also, because I'm almost starting to feel a little unappreciated lately, I would appreciate it if everyone who adds my artwork to their favorites would comment it as well, especially from anyone whom I draw a picture as a gift/request. Even so, I really enjoy working on artwork that is guaranteed to appeal to everyone else because it usually keeps me happy and motivated whenever I hear what they think of it.

Ever since I started accepting point commissions and/or art trades, I've been doing quite a few of them recently for some of my friends and anyone else who really enjoys checking out my artwork. You may have also noticed that I charge 100 dA Points for colored pictures that are shaded with a "choice of background style", but I don't really know if anyone is exactly sure what I actually meant by that... And so, I've decided to post this journal entry to explain what types of backgrounds I'm able to use for my artwork. There are three different types of background styles that I've used for many of my pictures - Pattern, Texture, and Transparent. Below is a list of descriptions for each style and some pictures for each one as an example:

Pattern - A design that consists of an object, symbol, etc. with a colorful background.


Texture - Two or more colors combined in a unique and stylish design.


Transparent - A background that is completely clear with no border.


If you're asking me to do a picture involving a pattern for the background, please feel free to describe what kind of symbol(s) and color(s) you'd like me to use. Now that the holiday season is officially over until next year, I would like to start this year by letting everyone on deviantART know that I am now accepting point commissions and/or art trades for anyone who is interested. Because I was kinda busy with some personal stuff not too long ago, I decided to hold off on doing commissions and trades until after the holiday season. Before I start doing point commissions and/or trades for my artwork, I would just like to let everyone know that 2012 is officially coming to a close. There have been so many hectic things that have happened to me all year long that I am so looking forward to next year. I guess you can say that 2012 wasn't exactly the best year for me, especially because this was the year that many superstitious people believed that the world was going to end on December 21 (but it didn't happen at all, of course). Despite all the crazy things that were happening this year, there were actually a few good things that have happened for me to make it up; For instance, I was able to get a few things that I wanted for Christmas this year, including a Blu-ray/DVD player with a copy of "Ice Age: Continental Drift" and copy of the game "Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power Of Two" for my Nintendo Wii. It would seem that 2012 was actually becoming very nice for me around November (probably around the time that I went out to see "Wreck-It Ralph" in theaters), but even so, I am hoping that 2013 will turn out to be a more peaceful year, and that everything will be alright for me afterwards.

Because I am waiting for the next new episode of "T.U.F.F. Puppy" to air on Nickelodeon (after being postponed recently...again), I am in the mood for sharing my thoughts about the titular hero and main character of the show - Dudley Puppy. I am aware that some people mainly enjoyed this show because of Dudley's sexy feline partner, Kitty Katswell, but I am actually going to talk about the real star of the series, and what makes him so unique in my own opinion. One thing that everybody probably knows about Dudley is the fact that he is played by Jerry Trainor, who was one of the actors who starred in the live-action series "iCarly", which has ended its run on TV not too long ago. Personally, I think he was a suitable actor for Dudley because the way he does the voice of him makes him very likable and often funny; I even tend to find myself quoting Dudley just for fun. Some people claim that Dudley may be annoying at times, but there are plenty of other reasons to like him as well. Even though he is not exactly the smartest T.U.F.F. agent in Petropolis, it is revealed that he is actually smart enough to defeat bad guys by outwitting them in a clever manner. For instance, in the episode "Shair-A-Lair", Dudley was the one who tricked The Chameleon into transforming himself into a mouse so that the elephant lady can stomp the crap out of him; And also, in the episode "Operation: Happy Birthday", he tricked Snaptrap into eating a cheesecake as a way of defeating him, since he is allergic to cheese and it causes him to swell up like an overinflated balloon. Of course, Dudley is always able to defeat his arch-enemies with some help from Kitty, who has become his partner ever since he joined T.U.F.F. At first, Kitty was kind of strict towards Dudley because of how stupid he was around her, but Dudley was able to prove to Kitty that he did have what it takes to become a good agent after helping her out in the first couple cartoons in the series - "Purr-fect Partners" and "Doom-mates". Some people might also complain about Kitty getting hurt because of Dudley's stupidity, but I'm pretty much a 'glass-half-full' kind of guy, so I already know that it's kind of a typical gag used in Butch Hartman's other cartoon series; And besides, it's not like Dudley was actually trying to hurt her on purpose like say, Snaptrap constantly tossing Larry into the shark tank... In a way, Kitty is pretty much like a teacher to Dudley because of him being a grown-up dog with the mind of a child, especially when she's being very supportive to him, which also makes her even more likeable as well. Even though Dudley and Kitty tend to fight like kids (which hasn't exactly happened that much after the first few episodes of the series), they are always able to help each other out whenever one character is trapped in a perilous situation. Despite how awesome and appealing these two characters are when working together, there were a couple of moments in the series that were kind of disappointing towards fans of Dudley. For example, the episode "Top Dog" happens to be my least favorite episode of the series because I felt that Dudley did not gain the appreciation he deserved for becoming the temporary leader of T.U.F.F., particularly at the end. While it's true that Dudley would make a bad leader (most the time, anyway), he is still a brave hero who would never give up on saving the day, even if he accidentally created the problem in the first place. Even though Kitty is a character that everyone else tends to like more on the show, I actually like Dudley about as much as her, especially because he is a character who is kinda like me in many ways. And also, the way I see it, you can't really have one character without the other, especially if you agree that Dudley and Kitty make a cute couple.
