It's been a long time since I was able to post a new journal entry here on DeviantArt, and I'd like to take the opportunity to make a kind of important announcement to my friends and followers who have been able to watch me for quite some time now. First of all, I'd like to wish everyone on here a Happy New Year just in time before 2023 is able to come to a close, and here's hoping that 2024 will turn out to be just as good despite all the crazy stuff that has been happening in the world lately. Secondly, I think now would be the perfect time to let everyone know that my DeviantArt page has officially gained over 1 Million Pageviews after checking out my profile page not too long ago, which is quite an accomplishment considering the fact that I've been able to post my artwork with my account on here for the past 13 years now, and I really appreciate all the kindness and support that everyone has given me during that time, especially when I was being trolled and bullied by others in the past (but that's all pretty much behind me now). And so, as a way of celebrating such a spectular milestone, I have decided to open for art requests for one whole month, in which I will be doing pictures for free from January 1st until after January 31st, and it would be my way of showing thanks for all my friends and followers who love checking out my artwork. However, the only pictures I will be drawing for free during that time will be pictures involving no more than one or two characters per drawing, since I will still be open for commissions and/or art trades for those who are interested in certain kinds of pictures, including artwork featuring three or more characters as well as comic strips.

Effictive immediately starting January 1st and ending after January 31st, requests involving one or two characters will be open.

When I was cleaning up some old content from my group 'WSFC' (Whitnee Squirrel Fan Club), I was able to come across an old journal entry that I had posted ten years ago regarding an offensive piece of artwork that was done of my original character, Whitnee Squirrel, getting killed by someone else's character in an ultraviolent manner, and not in a funny way, but rather in a way that is both hateful and hurtful:

Surprisingly, the picture has yet to be taken down with the user who posted it not getting banned from the site afterwards, though it appears that their account has become quite inactive for a long time now, since they haven't posted any new artwork on here aside from the violent and/or lewd content involving my own characters including Goldie, Jade, and Skyler. The picture was more than likely done during the time in which I was being constantly bullied and heckled by trolls who found joy in picking on me just because I was both autistic and a furry, which had been taking place since around 2010 when my original account on DeviantArt was hacked into and deactivated nearly twelve years ago, and it got so bad to the point where a couple of my friends were even forced to leave after they were actually threatened to have their DA accounts hacked into if they continued being friends with me. Now, just to be perfectly clear, if you are someone who is being threatened by someone on the internet, you DO NOT listen to their threats in any way because they are more than likely trying to scare you by bluffing, which is exactly what they want to do if they don't like someone for whatever reason (especially if you're someone who is able to use incredibly strong passwords for all of your accounts, then you're golden). Not only that, but I eventually learned that you should never try to insult or argue with trolls on the internet because it's pretty much like the equivalent of being in a fistfight with Freddy Krueger - You can punch and kick them as hard as you can, but they'll just laugh at every blow given to them no matter how much it hurts. Instead, the best way to deal with insults posted by internet trolls is to just ignore them without responding to them in any way and just block them from your accounts quickly before things get out of control (even if someone says something like "Anyone who marks this comment as spam is a moron!").

But, hypothetically speaking, another effect way to deal with trollish comments if you do feel like wanting to respond to them is to pretend that whatever nasty thing they may say about you is actually a compliment, to which you'd respond to them in a friendly manner or even make light-hearted jokes about the comments they post, which they'd probably never see coming, and they'll probably leave you alone afterwards because you're trying to "kill them with kindness". (Heck, I'm actually able to imagine it being kinda like how Ernest P. Worrell was able to defeat the evil troll in the movie "Ernest Scared Stupid", if you know what I mean...)

As for the picture itself, I was able to look at it again before posting this journal entry, and I actually found it be so cringy to the point where it's kinda funny after remembering how pathetic the trolls who picked on me actually are, especially after being left alone by them for such a long time now. I also noticed that the user who posted the picture who goes by the username 'JULAAAAYYY' was able to name themselves after an infamous quote from Christian Weston Chandler (AKA Chris Chan), who, ironicially enough, I knew absolutely nothing about until I learned about him a few years later around 2015 afterwards. I wouldn't be surprised if the picture was done by someone from one of those 4Chan sites, which I highly advice that everyone STAY AWAY from them because of how dangerous and offensive they really are, especially if the people who visit those sites are capable of posting hurtful content on a regular basis as well as spreading lies and false rumors towards innocent people without absolutely any proof of them doing anything bad at all (which is something that actually happened to me during that time, but the less that's said about that, the better).

The bottom line is that, regardless of any bullying or trolling that has been done to me in the past, I am still able to continue doing what I love, which is drawing pictures of characters in my original cartoon style, and I was never able to give in to whatever trolls threw at me while just continuing on with my personal life as if it was nothing, especially if I had never been capable of hurting anyone in any way. I was also able to make plenty of friends and followers who were able to support me from the beginning, who have even inspired me to keep on going no matter what happens, and I really appreciate everyone who is able to look up to me while treating me like a friend, which is something that I'm really good at doing despite me being shy in person. I have been hearing a lot of people fussing about the new AI feature that was recently added on DeviantArt, which supposedly lets people design their own pictures using existing artwork that they've already posted, and everyone's been so unhappy about it to the point where they're actually threatening to leave this site and/or deactivate their accounts while also removing much of their artwork from their galleries. Well, guess what? I am not one of those people who is able to do such a thing, and I am not going to leave this site at all regardless of such a change that was done, especially since I don't understand why I should be unhappy with such a new feature like everyone else, considering the fact that I will most likely never be able to use it in the first place. In fact, one of the reasons for me not wanting to leave DeviantArt is because it's pretty much the only place where I have been able to get so much recognition for my cartoon artwork after being on here since 2009, and I don't want to struggle getting as much recognition on any new sites, even if I have been able to post some of my newer artwork on other platforms such as Twitter and Instagram. And besides, I haven't had any issues with uploading my newer artwork, since I was able to upload my new pictures recently like I normally do even after the AI feature had just be added. To put it simply, I will only leave this site if it was made impossible to upload new artwork in exactly the same manner, and I really wish and hope that everyone who is able to read this journal entry will be able to understand that it's not good to fuss over something that will probably not affect one's ability to continue posting new pictures, especially if you already have more than enough supporters and followers that enjoy what you post on a regular basis.

You're probably able to notice a lack of new artwork that I'm able to post on here, and I have a perfectly good explaination for that: I have decided to take a short break from posting new artwork on DeviantArt for at least a week, since I am currently working on some pictures that I'm doing for a friend of mine who works at a collectable shop in my hometown, where I'm able to go hang out at least once a week, and they were more than nice enough to ask me to draw some pictures for them after I was able to show them my work for quite some time now, especially after having drawn a picture of Wonder Woman as an anthropomorphic bunny in my original cartoon style, to which they absolutely loved so much that they decided to display in in the shop after having it framed shortly afterwards. And so, I was asked to draw a set of pictures featuring the Batman villains in my original cartoon style, which would also be framed in the shop after getting them colored in, and I would even be able to get a little extra money for selling each one as well. Not only that, but this time of year is when I'm usually the least busy with my artwork due to there not being many ideas for me to work on by myself, so I'm able to take the opportunity to work on something outside of DeviantArt that is sure to keep me occupied whenever I feel like wanting a break every now and then, though I will eventually be able to post my artwork on a regular basis as soon as I'm able to get done with everything else, and I'm always open for art trades and/or commissions for anyone who is interested.

Because of it officially being June for this year, I have decided to take the opportunity work on a bunch of pictures featuring the Sonic characters as a way of celebrating Sonic Day, which takes place on June 23rd. However, I am having a difficult time trying to figure out what to draw on my own, so I am currently accepting ideas for pictures that I can draw throughout the entire month, especially in time for the upcoming release of "Sonic Origins", which, coincidentally enough, will be released on Sonic Day, and I plan on getting the game that same day for my Nintendo Switch and/or Xbox One. I guess you can even count this as one of my art request projects that I normally do during certain holidays such as Halloween and Christmas, and just like my recent projects as a way of getting around the lousy format of the journal entries, I won't be limiting the number of ideas for requests until further notice.

And so, for the time being, I will be accepting ideas for Sonic-themed pictures that I will be able to draw, whether it involves official Sonic characters, Sonic fan characters, or even a unique combination of both, and I've decided to accept as many ideas from everyone until after June 31st.
