I am posting this journal entry because I have some newer thoughts involving the Nickelodeon cartoon show "T.U.F.F. Puppy" that I feel like wanting to get out of my mind before I forget. Lately, I've been thinking about the titular hero, Dudley Puppy, and I've been kind of worried that most fans of the show don't actually like him as much as Kitty Katswell. This sort of thing is starting to bother me because I think Dudley is actually one likeable character who deserves a bit more respect from the fans who still enjoy watching the show; Sure, he may be stupid and childish at times, but that's only half of what makes him rather unique for a main character on the show... Dudley is usually the one who often saves the day, especially if Kitty is in a perilous situation, and he's always able to save her in the nick of time as well. While it's true that Dudley is completely slow-witted, everyone tends to forget that he also has a really big heart (both figuratively and literally speaking), which I think is an important factor for him becoming an awesome hero in the first place. In fact, I was able to watch the episode "A Tale Of Two Kitties" not too long ago, and I actually found it to be a perfect example of Dudley's trust and loyalty to Kitty, particularly on the ending after Kitty's villainous twin sister, Katty, was taken back to prison; Even though Dudley's stupidity tended to drive Kitty crazy in that episode, it's not like Dudley was doing anything bad on purpose, and I think it's kind of unnecessary to get mad at him if he always does the right thing after learning his lesson in each episode. In fact, Kitty has even admitted that she does, indeed, like having Dudley as her partner because of him being very loyal and thoughtful to her despite his stupidity, and I even liked how they were shown to have 'Best Partners' charm necklaces in that episode, which I think is such a cute moment that also made it one of my new favorite episodes in the series as well.

Lately, though, I've been looking at some stories that have had Dudley being portrayed as a bad character who gets punished at the end for being stupid, which I think is completely wrong, because as I pointed out before, he's actually one of those characters whose heart is way bigger than his brain, and I'm even able to portray him the right way whenever I draw pictures or write stories involving the T.U.F.F. Trio (Dudley, Kitty, and Whitnee). In case anybody's wondering, I am not trying to be overly-protective of Dudley just because he's the main star of this awesomely underrated cartoon; I'm just trying to point out what makes him so appealing to me ever since I started watching the show since it first aired on Nickelodeon. In a way, I guess you might even say that I've become a true honest fan who's enjoyed watching just about every episode that's aired no matter how cheesy some the jokes are in certain episodes; I'll admit, though, I did almost stop liking the show after watching the episode "Till Doom Does Apart" until they started to continue airing the newer episodes on Nicktoons Network, and these newer episodes helped restore my faith in the series by making Dudley and Kitty as likeable as they've always been to me.

As I'm writing this journal entry, I'm actually kind of worried about how my opinion about "T.U.F.F. Puppy" would affect some of my friends who are able to read it, especially if they're die-hard fans of Kitty. Even so, I would appreciate any feedback about what everyone thinks, and I feel like wanting to chat with anyone who's interested in this particular topic that I'm able to share on here.

Man, that's something hard to believe about Dudley, a silly character makes everyone laugh, like Patrick or Cosmo...
I can't believe it, and especially in a innocent cartoon like this...
