Maureen And Abby Go Trick-Or-Treating

Here is a picture that I did as a Halloween-themed request for my good friend : A picture of his Sonic fan character, Maureen The Cat, going trick-or-treating with my Sonic fan character, Abby The Squirrel, on Halloween night. Because of it being October, I decided to take the opportunity to work on a set of pictures as part of my annual "Thirteen Requests Of Halloween" project that I had started since last year, and I was more than willing to draw such a picture for my friend because of how much I enjoy drawing his Sonic fan characters in my original cartoon style. Needless to say, my friend was unable to give me any suggestions for costumes that Abby and Maureen would be wearing for Halloween, so I decided to make it a surprise by coming up with suitable costumes on my own. For this picture I've done, I was able to draw Abby dressed up as a kunoichi (female ninja) and Maureen dressed up as a pirate, and both girls are seen doing some trick-or-treating by standing in front of the doorway to someone's house while holding out their treat bags. When I was coloring the picture in, I was able to use a bunch of detailed textures for the scenery while using minimal shading as a change of pace. The picture turned out really nice after being completed, and I just know that my friend will love it no matter what.
